I'm making a group of 4 genestealers and a broodlord, ninja turtle style.
The broodlord is going to be splinter, and I need a suitable skaven model.

But what skaven model would look good as master splinter?

Queek Headtakek will be the perfect master splinter. He is in an action pose and will be good with the Turtle power.

Finished except for Splinter, still trying to negotiate a trade for that model.

Really though, a pretty cool bit of geeked up nostalgia. TMNT was by far my favorite cartoon as a kid.

I do think that they would benefit from just a bit of conversion to make the claws wrap around the weapons. Wouldn't be hard, and you might even be able to do it by heating up the claws carefully over a candle. The weapons glued into an open palm is pretty distracting.

Hasslefree minis has a rhino head and boar heads aren't too terribly rare, so perhaps it's time to make a Rocksteady, Bebop and Shredder?

The Skaven Assassin with swords model would work nicely. I also like Warlord Spinetail and Deathmaster Snikch.

If you haven't gotten the model for him yet, the warlord from Island of Blood isn't quite as menacing or dynamic as Queek, but he's still good, plastic, readily available, and super cheap.

Surely some sort of Clan Eshin model would do nicely for Splinter.

Those are really cool, but I'd suggest basing them on manhole covers and greenstuffing some pizza in the mix.

Great, now I feel incredibly lazy because I have a 28 mm Turtle body lying around here somewhere for ages and I still didn't get around to make something with it.
