Those bases do look good. It also looks like they eliminate one of my personal gripes with the Sector bases by being fairly even. Depending on the model pose, finding a good spot on the Sector bases can be a real pain.

Along with 25mm there missing the different oval sizes and the 60mm currently covered by the Sector Imperialis line. So fingers crossed there is another box or two on the horizion.

Hmm if it wasn't for the 65mm I would have said the box of bases was perfect for Marines. But Dreads currently use a 60mm base, IIRC the current sector range doesn't include a 65mm either. Could be a typo or a sign of things to come in 8th?

For anyone who is sad, like me, that the Sector Mechanicus bases are 32mm and there's no 25mm, I can recommend Champ Industries' bases. They are plastic, only 30 cents each and are pretty good generic industrial 25mm bases.

Yeah I got an order before Christmas they are still going. Pity there are no 25mm bases in the GW industrial set.

Not trying to be too cynical, but that crane image doesn't look like a 3d render to anyone else?

Well I certainly hope 25s are not out entirely. It looks great with these bigger SM but honestly 32mm is a bit silly under an Eldar Guardian.

I'm surprised at how many of the base types are bundled together, but having based a Genestealer Cult army on the 25mm Sectorial Imperialis bases...

The urban 25mm bases can tend to get kind of frustrating when putting normal posed models on them. Specific designs work well while others don't.
Spoiler:

The base in the upper right corner(the broken curb) ends up with every model having to be placed on one specific way.

Maybe the 25mm are just going to get a "base detail kit" like the larger bases got for the Sectorial Imperialis stuff?

65mm bases are in for the "Shattered Dominion" range for Age of Sigmar.

I, offhand, don't know what uses them but they exist.

The 60mm base is the typo. If you measure the Dreadnought base, it has a diameter of 65mm but is has been mistakingly referred to as 60mm for years. I can confirm that 65mm Sector Imperialis base is exactly the same size as Dreadnought base, Eldar War Walker base, Cadian Heavy Weapons Team base - 65mm. The confusion was stuck so badly that even resin base manufacturers talk about 60mm when they mean 65mm.

That place is the harsh dark future far left with only war left.

Nice!
I got a kit of "Sector Imperialis 25 & 40mm Round Bases" and I am only using those for any of the "special" troops (you only get 40 of them).
I just slap on "Evergreen 1/4" sidewalk styrene 0.04" thick which I cut out with a 1" punch cutter, glue to top of base and trim with a sharp knife after for the normal troops.
"Granny plate" would do in a pinch (cross-stitch "plastic canvas").

I usually made up mixed gravel but I think I will not mind having them a bit different from my normal armies (base will be painted like usual though) when they are used so they appear elite.
Those Champ bases are far less work however.

*Grabs tape measure and Dread* Well that settles it then. Aside from ovals for bikes this box seems to cover all the base sizes a Marine player should need. Fingers crossed for another box with 25mm.

The crane and the haulers are fantastic. With all this terrain being modular, I wonder if the cargo container crates will work on the trailer that's carrying the crane?

The containers are supposed to be the right size to fit on that frame that the larger crane is on... if that helps...
Looks like that's absolutely confirmed with these new pictures, the munitorum crates look great behind the hauler!

There's a hidden joke in this...

Because your "job security" is linked to you being surgically implanted within the forklift and armored.

Yup at 30 cents a pop and only 3.00 flat rate shipping it was only $18 to get 50 of them! I don't mind converting and scratch building but my time is worth a lot more than 30 cents for a 25mm base

So that solves the question of whether the trailer can haul a cargo container. Very nice.
