Death-Dealing Devastator

Hi everyone!

I've been playing warhammer 40k for about 4 months now, my boyfriend got me into it. I collect Space Marines and have managed to get together an army of +/- 2000 points, thanks to having had my birthday recently XD At least one year I know what to ask for! I've visited the GW in Breda (The Netherlands) a number of times and played 15 or so games against other people. So far I have faced off against almost every army out there at least once, and that is pretty hard, because you got to deal with a completely new situation every time.
I know I'm a huge noob and know almost nothing about the universe of 40k, but everything will come in time eh?

I'm also a hobby-hoarder, I have too many hobbies. I study Illustration, 3rd year now, and so love to do arts. I also enjoy reading, writing, role playing, videogaming (PC), playing guitar and making tea (yes that's also a hobby).

Anyone who's interested in seeing what I draw, take a look on my blog: http://openlucht.blogspot.com/ There's a couple of entries with warhammer stuff in there Rough sketches mostly but you get the idea.

Hope to have a good time here!
(oh yes and I'm also a woman who likes the gaming part of 40k, not just the hobby... I've heard most women who are into warhammer are mostly in it for the hobby.)

I am not British myself, though my boyfriend is. I've loved tea all my life so I might as well be a brit, lol.

Thanks!

I'm a guy and I actually enjoy the hobby part more

It's so much fun putting them together and giving them your own twist

Didn't think people would still comment on this thread after 2,5 weeks. xP

But yes, Orkfan, I too love the hobby part a lot =) But the game is good too. If I got the models and friends to play with, why shouldn't I?

Also, you seem to like Orks, huh? one of my recent threads might interest you: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/407099.page
