great harker, you did the best thing for catachans by not over shadowing those muscles very nice detail in the face (how did you accomplish this) and that is a great tattoo color was it a gw color?

@ Rogue the face was done in the same way as the body...and the tattoo color is a mix of regal blue/black/and the flesh midtone (75%dwarfflesh/25%Bleached Bone) More blk for shade, more flesh for highlight

Very nice. I especially like the smaller details like his scratches and the black and yellow stripes on the bolter!

The camo is solid, but the layering on the skin is badass. I like the tattoos, although I don't exactly like their positions - I'd have the sergeant stripes further up his arm and the aquila across his upper back. Great painting though, Harker is one of my favorite models.

Actually the tat is on his shoulder because along the left edge of the tat is a tiny piece of grass flock, like a blade of grass, that mustve stuck itself to the model b4 priming. I didnt notice right away...hence the tattoo over the shoulder, which still isn't a bad place for a tat, but for over all composition i agree with you. Yet again, patience is my worst enemy.
