Okay so I have not played a single game of warhammer or 40k since arriving here, mainly because my job is stressful and the other because I just not feeling the vibe around here. So I decided to spend my time getting back to what I still love about this hobby. Painting and modeling. So here is my current project. I have been working on a Nurgle Plague tower for a bit, just something about a hard to kill tank parked on an objective with 30 hard to kill plague marines inside Also I have wanted a hell talon for a while so I challenged myself to complete one in a 5 days working after I got home from work. No including paint of course. Im pretty soked how it came out (see bottom after tower)

This took ALOT of green stuff!

that back in will be painted and have water effects poured in to give it a slime pool effect

A fellow coffee stirrer phile, always steal handfuls when i am in mcdonalds/strbucks/subway. Mcdonalds ones are the best, slight varnish and least splinter-y.

Okay so I got the Hell Talon done. Overall I am pleased with it. Some lessons learned will go a long way for the other two I plan on building. In addition I may go back and add the "lightning" effect to the bottom also, but I have not decided. All in all I think I have about $20-25 in it.

An overall very nice scratchbuilt.
