Both the war wagon and skorne bird are looking good. I like the paint job on the wagon better, the orange bird looks a bit off in middle of the grey beasts of the studio army.

The War Wagon suffers from the same un-logic as the Khador one by being pulled by the two mounds the way it is.

Should have been one or a few huge-arse Dire Trolls pulling that thing. Thát would have made it a truly awesome model.

Are the huge models still full metal?

The Skorne one is really disappointing... and I really like Skorne models.

Definitely one of the better war engines.

Not sure about the paintjob on the Skorne flyer. It could have been a lot better (see Everblight dragon-fliers)

BE's are mainly Resin.

If I were a Troll player, I would buy and convert a big troll pulling it instead of the buffalo.

Its similar to Khador in which it is a wagon. Oh well. Yes it is a mega-dire-troll, but none of the Hordes ones are giant beasts in and of themselves. This does fit the troll style of adapting weapons and tools they see cygnar and khador using.

Well, I'm just happy to have more skorne beasts I suppose. Do we know what the archidon does? Besides move quickly

EDIT Looks like animus is Sprint, which is awesome in itself. Also checking out the other Dominion skorne things and I'm decently happy to see holes being filled ...

I was reading thru the book the other night. Trolls got some Really nice stuff in there, so I bet you can't wait for it. I wish they would finish releasing the stuff from Wrath, though apparently that's expected to take half of next year to do.

The wagon is really cool, but it's let down by the identibison. I hated that on the Khador Battle Engine, and I hate it now on the troll engine. If you're charging me that much money for a big model, for god's sake take the time to cast a variant beastie to drag it. If it had variant bison I'd consider it, but at that price I will not buy something that will require extensive conversion to be acceptable to me.

The skorne beastie looks great to me though. I dunno about the little metal add ons to it, but the overall design is solid. About time Skorne expanded into a few more Marches beasties.

Given Aduro is talking about Wrath, not Domination - and we've now seen the February previews - I'm going to guess post-February 2012...

No idea when anything past February will be out. Right now it's a plastic `Jack with the associated Character upgrade kits in January. Plastic Beast with the associated character upgrade in February. I wonder if they won't keep up that pattern and alternate them each month.

On the other hand, I was told, by someone who apparently heard it from Ed or DC, that all the new plastic kits were supposed to come out at the same time, as they're all in the same batch from the oversees producer. That seems really unlikely to me though given the current releases they've shown and past history of staggered rel;eases.

I'll be curious to see where their releases are at this time next year given their comments of "hoping" to have all of Wrath releases done by mid way next year, while at least one new Warmachine book (and i would assume a corresponding hordes book?) is also scheduled for next year.

Have we seen Rocinante's upgrade kit, then Aduro? The only plastic Jack I've seen previewed recently was the Merc one, and I don't recall seeing Damiano's pet at the same time...

Ah, no, you're right. I checked and found I was forgetting what the Merc character was and was thinking of the new `Jack on the Nomad body, the one with the gun shield. As I consider that, I think it's actually rather odd that the upgrade kit isn't coming out the same month as the plastic `Jack it goes on.

Did it have to fit in a certain base size?
or did the materials restrict its size?

I think they should give plastic a try, sort of like what GW did with all the new monster sized kits.
