Thanks for the encouraging words :-) we know there are things that need to change such as the voice acting etc. has a long way to go but hope the outcome will be epic.

Is it going to be a full length movie or what?

I love that first comment on youtube. "I am throwing money at the screen but nothing is happening!" I would throw some money there way for a pre-order but if they tried to sell it, GW would crucify them. As it is, I'll be surprised if it doesn't get squashed as soon as the finished version is made available.

Looks very good way better than Ultramarines.

Will the marines voices deep? The Blood Raven's Captain from the DOW2 trailer deep.

I think the voice acting was ok, its just a little harsh. especially Coteaz's voice(that was Coteaz right?)

Maybe if its a little smoother. The tone would be fine for a space marine, but for a human its slightly off.

However i think the script can be improved...

Thanks a lot everyone. Unfortunately under GW's very strict 'fan made animations' guidelines we are going to have to keep the final short film around 15-20 Minutes. BUT that is a lot for us as it is, its a tiny team of artists in retrospect (especially in comparison to Codex and their Ultramarines team) we are all industry professionals with day jobs at studios unrelated to the project entirely as well, so its based on spare time. And of course we cannot and do not intend on making a single cent off of it. Now if GW decided to fund us then Im sure a lot of fans and followers would be pumped (we can only dream) ! Like I said before we are aware of the lack of sound quality from the voices have faith that when the final release comes out, the sound will be as tight as the visuals. Spread the word and support!

might I reccomend you possably make a small series. A bunch of related shorts around 20 minutes in length.

It would allow for more story anyway.

F- on the voice... Sorry, but it was a chore to listen to the narrator. I watched it a second time with sound muted and had a much better experience.

The crashed ship in one background looks like my poor attempt at a terrain piece. It's too "intact" and needs more wreckage... if that makes any sense.

I thought Ultramarines would fit into this category if they deleted all the walking scenes.

More stormtroopers, less grey knights.

Looks much better then either the Ultramarines movie or the Space Marine game's plot. I thought it was real until the last message. :(

You definately need better voices. I would suggest an English accent, I would offer my own services but I don't have a working microphone atm.
But I will agree with others, that animation is fething superb. Jolly good old boy!

Alrighty, I watched it again, and I've gotta say, three things come to mind.

I don't know whats up with everyone complaining about the voicework. The guy seemed a little wooden, his lines came off as if he was reading a script, but otherwise I could hear him perfectly (this coming from a guy who usually has to enable subtitles in every game he plays).

The shoulder pads seemed a little too high on the space marines. Still, they're iconic for being huge. It wasn't bad so much as it looked kind of odd.

Some of the animation was jerky, but this is a trailer and I'm sure things will get smoothed out when it's all said and done.

Once again, I'd like to say congrats. That trailer is on par, or better than, the DoW1 intro, which I consider to be a classic example of a great cgi intro. Truly outstanding in that you guys just do it on your spare time when there are teams dedicated to this that can't even amount to half the quality.

While your using space marines (boo!), you going the inquisitor route with space marine support, so you get an ecstatic yay! I'm in no position to make requests but I hope you guys show some guardsmen in action, also while staying true to the fluff and have them dying constantly.

The trailer does contain a few scenes that feel a tiny bit out of place, being less smooth than the rest and not really suiting in the same lighting either. Other than that, it's amazing. Really well done!!

That was just epic!!! This is going to be sensational when it comes out.

It's funny how with the comparisons of the size of both of your teams, the Ultramarines movie was a par with a 90's video game animation. Truely, a 40k movie would be much better if it was made by fans than if it was funded by the money machine GW.
