So what problems are you guys running into with Skyrim? I figured we would make this thread so we can have one Negative Thread, and one Positive thread, so to speak.

As for me, I would say:

1) Duel Weilding weapons feels clunky. Spells are awesome, sword and board is awesome, but Weapon/Weapon just feels awkward. I have no idea if this is corrected as you level it up, or if it's just stronger, though.

2) Lack of the ability to remake your character after the tutorial. That was always in there, I don't understand why it's not....

3) Lack of Spears. Seriously, that would have been awesome; Spear and Sheild, killing dragons. Could take a leaf out of Dark Soul's Book and allowed you to make a spear where you can shoot lightning out of it or what not.

That's about all I got, it's a very solid game, I think.

4) Tiny little nitpick, but I wish you could put warpaint on your body; it would look a lot cooler if I could put warpaint on my Orc Shaman.

I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.

The AI is still touchy as hell...
If they are gonna run in front of me of course i'm gonna hit them accidentally...
They shouldn't get so worked up about it.
Basically if they are in a battle the AI should allow one or two hits without turning full psycho on your arse.

The perks system is almost perfect though some skills don't have much opportunity to level up...

Other than that very little...

Aye, but at least time, if the worst happens, no witnesses, means no crime, of course thats not so easy if you hit a unkillable, or start a fight in a city.

Duel wielding is best used with power attacks and high stamina (IMO) and the +35% speed perk helps

I agree with psycho AI.

And not enough weapon types. Spears, flails, halberds, katars... etc.

Are there no restrictions on skilling up depending on your parent tree anymore?

For example in Morrowind if you went agility early on it was very hard to wear/utilise heavy armor. Sure you could equip it but you would run/jump slower and it would drain your stamina.
In Skyrim Im trying to play a sneaky Argonian (light armor/one hand etc) but can seem to equip HA and even hack away competently with 2 handers?
I cant seem to see any parent attributes anymore?

Please tell me you cant equip/do whatever you feel like and then have no penalties? Wheres the R gone in RPG?

You are okay with everything to start with.
Eventually you get really good with the stuff you always use to the point that if you start using something else it might get you killed because of the shortfall.

Yeah, you start out as a jack of all trades, but specialization is needed to combat high level mobs.

The fact that there are feth all materials for mid-level smithing (only 2 easily obtainable moonstone veins, for example, makes elven smithing a bitch).

How I rank Trolls and Bears as deadlier opponents than Dragons.

The fact that the game freezes for a few seconds at seemingly random intervals, although moreso if sprinting.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Magic is, once again, easy mode. However, at least they made it so visually interesting that I still want to play a mage.

Some shouts are incredibly amazing, some are incredibly ho-hum.

I haven't figured out what makes my game crash every thirty minutes or so.

There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable.

The AI is a pain for me too. There were a few times where I was following someone, only to have them get stuck on a rock and then vanish. Or get stuck in combat mode if we get attacked and kill everything, then they just stand there with their sword drawn. I had to quit and come back to fix them.

I accidentally hit a wandering city guard that was helping me kill a bandit, guard went after me but I somehow managed to kill it... so, there were no witnesses, yet I somehow still ended up with a bounty. Did the guard radio in to report me while I was slicing his head off?

There's been a few glitches but overall I can look the other way since the game is just that good. I just save as often as I can remember to.

For some reason, the game wants you to be careful about where you swing, but encourages throwing AoE spells around. I've killed dozens of guards while fighting dragons by hurling chain lightning, and I've never had a bounty.

I just found out something I dont like about Skyrim, the magic.

Not that its an instawin, but more the way it plays with Melee characters. I use magic to heal myself mostly or to cast shield buffs. Having to open a menu each time to swap 1 of my weapons to said spell is so frigging annoying. The way it was in Oblivion was great now that i think back.

Armies I want:Lizardmen, Warriors Of Chaos, Dark Eldar

+1 to that.
I also find the AI really annoying, my companions and allies are constantly running infront of me and getting hit (or just plain dying).
After playing fallout for a long time I find it very annoying that the quests are on a different menu to all the other interfaces. The only things that should be on the start button is settings, save and quit.
The damn arrow glitch although it does go away.
That guards don't go "STOP! YOU VIOLATED THE LAW!" anymore.
The sheer amount of side quests (under the misc category, although this could also be considered a good thing).

All I can think of off the top of my head.

Not much, to be honest. I'm loving damn near everything in Skyrim.

I will say that I kinda expected dual-wielding to be far more awesome than it actually is. I don't know if I'm actually doing more damage, but it seems like I'm swinging two swords at the same rate I can swing one sword and hold a shield.

I'm miffed about how the quests are on a completely different page compared to the rest of the interface. There's really no reason for them to be on the pause menu instead of the Items/Skills/Magic/Map menu.

I find the AI hilariously bad at times, myself. One notable example was doing a Thieves' Guild quest to steal a bunch of items from a safe. The game recommended I grab the key, so I tiptoed through the house and found the key...in the pocket of the head of the house. What made it so hilariously dumb was the fact that I walked into the room, he started talking to me, and I just kinda pickpocketed him and walked away. He didn't chase me, didn't call the guards, didn't even blink.

Really, I'm in love with Skyrim. There is so, so much to do in terms of questing across the world. I'm already the head of the Companions, the Thieves' Guild, and the Dark Brotherhood, and just joined up with the Bards' College. And I haven't so much as touched the main questline other than the first 5 or so quests so you can unlock dragons and Shouts.

The point to dual wielding is mostly versatilty, you can have more offensive enchantments up at the same time, have two types of weapons (mace for high armor targets for instance) And doing a dual power attack does more damage then anything I've see so far (2 power attacks = 1 dead frost dragon on highest diff)

I think that guy is bugged slightly. I pickpocketed him whlst he was looking at me and then walked away and he did nothing.

Breezehome is bugged for me, the bed in my house isnt owned by me.

also I used to like making skooma/moonsugar labs in my house for fun but this game seems to like to toss all my decor around when i enter it.

Other then that i love this game.

Anyone know if mana regens whilst in combat?
Im wearing a +50% regen cloak but is it only when not in combat?

Also there are no quick keys such as 1,2,3 etc for spells? All done through the favourites menu?

Can you level up cooking, smelting etc ala Warcraft or is it just to produce goods for sale/crafting?

I cant seem to perform long running jumps either the run/jump key combo dosent seem to work?

Do your companions have an infinite gear carry weight?

Is there a way to track what potion ingredients you have discovered? Like a list/book one can get?
