I had the whole random 2-3 second pauses on my old computer running xp, but nothing of the sort when i started on my new one with windows 7. Occasionally the game will close or whatever, but it is remarkably stable compared to oblivion or daggerfall (morrowind i played on xbox); and yeah, if you are having problems with alt tabbing, follow avatar 720s advice, cause that's brought the game up fine for me every time.

How I rank Trolls and Bears as deadlier opponents than Dragons.
The fact that the game freezes for a few seconds at seemingly random intervals, although moreso if sprinting.
Yeah, those are problems that annoy me too.
There is absolutely no reason to smith all the way up to level 90 to get daedric armor, as you won't need 50 full suits of steel/iron/dwarven armor.
Hell the only way I got up to smithing 90 was by spending like 3-4 hours by crafting tons of iron daggers and selling them off, and hells bells that was boring.
I also find it hilarious that dragons are meant to be what everyone is afraid of, and a couple of giants can pants one easily.

Well, great, I can't complete thieves guild now.
Got a bug on the scoundrels folly quest where you have to shadow that argonian dude. But he dissapeared, and the quest marker is inside of a wall where you can't go. I discovered this to late so don't have any recent saves. Yey.

In that case, I would stop the quest for now, and find some other things to do. If you're lucky, the NPC will reset and sort himself out. They do that sometimes.
By the way, my avatar is a flag of my interests, not an attempt to affect yours.

Yes, I do.
Anyway, did the entire dark brotherhood quest line (in a dayXD) and the char reset, pretty much done with skyrim now, just have to become guildmaster with thieves guild and get lvl 50 (half a level to go). Already got al shouts maxed, and I run around with 150k gold.

Menus on PC. Someone never bothered adapting them for the mouse and keyboard, but that's just a PC issue. The menus in general I find a little bland and boring, lacking the character of Oblivion's or Morrowinds. At the same time though, they're not quite as... cluttered?
Love the leveling system. It works wonderfully. I do wish they'd kept attributes but that's a minor concern.
I've had the random pauses as well but to be honest it doesn't bother me enough to ruin the experience. There's a lot of minor glitches laying around but that's to be expected from Elder Scrolls.
Spells are my biggest complain. I like magic in the game, but only having two equips and a power/shout is annoying. Very annoying. Especially since it makes battle maging notoriously annoying to do, especially since on the PC, there are no hotkeys! *rage* The favorites menu is nice though, a good addition.
But overall I love Skyrim. Best game for me in the past year by miles and a few fathoms. EDIT: Oh, and werewolves are back. Yeeeaaaaah!

So I ran into an issue with mining. The big iron mine with the transmute spell has gotten all of the ore veins refilled and yet I can't mine them. All of the bandits are back and so are the mammoth tusks. The ebony mine in the orc stronghold has also refilled veins but these I just walkthrough as though they were never there. I have no idea why but it is incredibly annoying.
The only other thing I wish I could do would be to smith lockpicks or arrows. I mean come on I have 100 smithing am level 43 and only have 6 freaking ebony arrows? I guess I also wish there were dragon weapons instead of just the armors, but I can take it or leave it on that one.

Exit and re-enter the mines, that usually fixes it.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I tried it and while I'm not ghosting through them I can see that the veins are replenished but I still can't mine...grrr...it's a charachter that is designed to scoop up the achievements so I can RP it next time through so it's not a have-to-have, but if I messed it up I want to know before my next playthrough. I did do the "extra ore" glitch so I wounder if that messed up the respawn.

So after installing the update from xBox live I can mine the ebony mine again but not the iron mine. Not that I need cash anymore, but I don't want it to spread to say a moonstone or ebony one. That and if I do an execute while having an arrow stuck in me the arrow will stay there forever. While that one isn't so bad (I save before any fight) the big one is the Markarth Guards. I did the consipiracy quest and now if I commit a crime in the Reach they just say that I can either a)declare thanedom which fails b) plead innocent c)go to jail d) resist. So I can't pay a 1000 gold fine and going to jail does nothing it just gives me the next screen saying "what do you need" at which point the process starts over again. If I back out at the what do you need part they attempt the arrest again, even though I submitted.

Because Human Flesh is pumped full of preservatives to give a longer shelf life.

Have had few problems Overall the game is FABULOUS, one problem which wasn't really a problem just made me lol hard i went to enter my house in whiterun and fell through the floor and was like okaaaaay then jumped up and was outside so that was cool. Umm some minor quest problems which weren't a big deal.
The thing i like the best in this is theres no restrictions to what you specialize in you can switch into whatever you want anytime you want although its tougher just have to grind for a bit till you're good to go back
Exampl: Started out as Stealthy wood elf archer and i found some cool staves and armour for mages so i decided to go that route so im badass at picklocking and can shock the crap out of whatever = D

Im hoping someone can help me with a glitch. I want to become thane of all 9 holds. However in Riften whenever i talk to the Jarl (Maven on my playthrough) she only repeats the stock lines of "the throne suits me dont you think?" ect. Therefore i never get a dialogue box and never get given the option to do tasks and buy a house to become thane. And yes I have done the skooma side quest.
