Ill play any one of them, but soulstorm is still the game of choice, I like the bases and bigger armies as opposed to the new Dawn of war...I was very disappointed
I didnt know very many people still played! You play online skirmishes or were you just asking in general if people still play?

Indeed, a damned sight better, for moving away from the boring and generic starcraft-style gameplay.

I'd play DoW loaded up with FoK if I had more people to roll with. Currently only one guy I know plays it, and playing against AI just isnt the same as playing people.

I play Soulstorm nowadays, mostly. I still enjoy going through the Guard campaign (since they're the only faction that doesn't have to fight the Guard stronghold ) but I've been trying to get through all of the races. I actually really enjoyed playing as the Dark Eldar - their units can put out crazy amounts of damage.
Weirdly enough, I can't get into Orks, despite them being one of my favorite races in 40k. I'm just always annoyed when I can't have max squads of units because I'm out of the Waaagh! resource to get them up to max strength.

Yeah I hate having so many options available to me. Thanks to DOW 2 for forcing me to have a specific army list and taking away the ability to save games mid-mission.
On topic though, if anyone is up for a game of Dawn of War Dark Crusade any time, add me on GameRanger joem1988 at hotmail dot co dot uk

In fairness it does give a better feel for SM than previous games...

?? You definitely CAN save your game in mid-mission during DoW2. Not sure where you got the idea that you couldn't do that?? Just bring down the in-game MENU, then click under OPTIONS (bizarre place for it, I know but it's there). You'll see the SAVE button at the bottom of that window.
You're welcome.
