So I decided since Tyranids have no feminine looking characters i would make one off the top may head ^_^ I have thought about this since the beginning of october. Heres what i got.

WS 9 seems a bit too high.

i was using the Swarm lord stats with a few abilities replaced with 2 zoanathrope psycic powers, im going to move the wings to options ^_^

No offense, but this monster is kinda overpowered. As Coolyo294 said, WS 9 is very high, as well as all those Psychic powers. Maybe lower the WS down a little, and take off a couple Psychic powers.

What is it supposed to be? Right now, it seems like a slightly lower-costed Swarmlord that's nowhere as good. If I was paying 200+ points for a 'Nid character I would rather pay 55pts more and get the Swarmlord himself rather than this one.

okay i added more points, but i updated the WS and I dded Bonesabers to a biomorph.

He's right, it is just psychic spam. A Hive Tyrant or Swarm Lord fills the same roll. The point of upgrades is also just pushing towards the fact a Hive Tyrant or Swarm Lord would or could do the same thing.

PS: Also, all Tyranids look the same despite the gender, it seems you want to create a somewhat Kerrigan character from Starcraft. I suggest using a Broodlord stance, as Tyranids have very little personality or personal names.

Since you seem to be new to this:

1.) Special Characters generally do not get options, or very limited options. Something like the swarmlord is not given the option to buy wings because a flying monstrous creature with instakill swords is rather over the top.

2.) A normal hivetyrant given some guns as it's second weapon set would probably accomplish most of the same things your special character could do. Why not just use that?

3.) A 3+ invul save is rather powerful. A 3+ invul save on a T6 creature with 5 wounds is ridiculous.

4.) It looks like you're trying to make a self-insert character of some sort. This rarely ends well.

5.) If you're actually trying to make a more psychically inclined hive tyrant, and not a ridiculous combination of a hive tyrant and some sort of hello kitty thing, perhaps use something other than the Swarmlord as your base.
I'd say

Lash Whip & Force Weapon, Wings

That's at least different enough from the baseline tyrant to make a new model
Then again, the tyranid codex already contains a somewhat interesting psychic character, the Doom of Malan'tai. Why not play around with that first?

Seriously though, the point cost is a bit too low. I'd go with atleast 450. Also, make it a Gargantuan Creature. That way it will be apocalypse only.

the force weapon is an instantly killing CC weapon. In otherwords it's a power weapon which kills you in 1 strike even if you have 6 wounds.

Yeah, gonna second this suggestion.

I know what a force weapon is.... its just i don't know what an example of one is... i'm sorry i'm new to this.

A force weapon example: The Daemon weapon of Tzeench for a Chaos Lord. Really it can be anything, so long as psychic energy flows through it. Hense, the bonesword can be a Force weapon as it is very likely the wielder, if a Psyker (which most Synapse creatures I have seen are), could channel his psychic powers through it.

I THINK, I'm also very new myself, and know jack diddly about the fluff.

Otherwise, I like the idea. As a tyranid fanatic, I would love to see this in play, though I would like to see ACTUAL SUGGESTIONS to help it better, not crude remarks. Be helpful, or go on somewhere >_>.

To me it sounds alright, though systemwise two whips wouldn't do much for you The whip's main use, weapon wise, is lowering Attacks of those in base conact. But for looks sake, dual wielding whips woul be good looking if done well. Keep in mind, though, that when you write the fluff down, the whips being force weapons would need a small bit of explaining. I mean generally you see swords, staffs, etc. as them. To my knowledge (Noob knowledge) whips would be something very unique, including a whip made from the biomass attached to your Tyranid Hive Queen person.

Edit: I saw you put Power Weapon, and the above post was meant for force weapon. Too lazy to edit out, as I wasn't sure if you did mean force weapon or not :x. I'm not so sure on a power weapon, mainly because its a whip. The deadliest whip I know of is the chaos Blissgiver (Wounds are instant Death, and no I don't think that would work for Nids ).

Perhaps you should at least glance at the rules before designing characters. Force weapons are described in the Main Rule Book. They are power weapons that allow you to instantly kill a model you wounded this turn by passing a psychic test.

You probably shouldn't be using custom characters at this point.

If a simple staff can be a force weapon (Which it can be, and I know this for a fact as I play chaos), I see no reason why a bone sword, in the hands of the right Nid, could not count as a force weapon.

Warhammer wouldn't be as fun as it is if it didn't allow for creativity, and that's what she is doing is being creative. Telling her to not try something different for her army is like if GW banned all color schemes save for ones they put in the codexes themselves. So be helpful, or just don't comment.

Never said a nid bonesabre couldn't be a force weapon. In fact, I suggested it in the first place.

It's clear, however, that the OP has had somewhat limited exposure to Warhammer 40k. Getting a custom character balanced as well as fitting decently into the fluff requires at least a modicum of effort, which the copy paste hive tyrant presented clearly lacked. The nids do have plenty of options for making a distinct leader beast, should one choose to use them.

Kyran, why don't you start by writing out a bit of fluff for your character? Don't worry about rules, or anything like that, just come up with an interesting concept. Post it, and I'm sure you'll get much more constructive and helpful replies. What would help even more is a model of what you're intending to run.

Edit: Tzeetchian Daemon Weapons are not force weapons. Neither are boneswords, though their rules are somewhat similar, in passing.

I don't think giving a hive tyrant zoathrope powers counts as a custom character. Only putting up rules is a quick way to make something overpowered or unnecessary, or something that can already be expressed with an existing option.

Because people criticize you doesn't mean they aren't giving you helpful advice. I suggest you create a character that's role is filled by two other options, and has fluff that suits the army with it. Tyranid gender is not shown, nor do they have personal names except for Genestealers but still are slaves to the hive mind.
