they never made any colors, paints or inks. You can still order their discontinued line of stuff from Coat D'Arms from the UK, who were the original manufacturers.

All of the Foundations and Washes. Very easy to use and look great. If I had to pick one of each I'd go with Charadon Granite and Devlan Mud. Granite because it's dark enough to to represent black, but light enough that you can still see fine details. Badab Black wash over it looks fantastic. Devlan Mud is great for making things look dirty and it's a crazy simple way to make realistic looking bone when combined with Bleached Bone paint.

It may be a little thick but I like to make metalic colors with it and a wee bit of water and it makes a solid one coat paint that normally doesn't need a 2nd as it is so much darker than mithril or the others I have tried.

If gw didn't end their colors and the pot desing wouldn't be made out of fail I would use gw stuff alot more often.

But my least hated is liquid green stuff.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

Colours we like to paint with or colours we like because of the colour?

Colours i like because of the colour - Tentecle pink of Hawk Terquiose. I think they are just brillient colours.
Colours i like to paint with - Gonna have to agree with poda_t on this one. Otherwise, anything made by Vallejo.

I'm dating myself here but my favorite GW paint - of all time - has to be ....

"Deadly Nightshade" (a beautiful deep, dark, smokey blue)

It hasn't been produced for around 15 years and I STILL have some in the old soft plastic paint pots that GW used to use (like Vallejo witha flip-top) that is like new. I take it out only for special "occassions" now. Much like the fine china, it's too valuable for casual, everyday use

Tough call, really. Most of my "normal" paints are VGC, but I have a few from each of GW's ranges - metallics, washes, foundations, and regular colors. Of those, Orkhide Shade, Boltgun Metal, Badab Black, and Devlan Mud all see about equal use (even though Orkhide Shade is almost never seen on a finished mini, it goes under every single square mm of Ork skin). Of those, the ones I would miss most, were I to have to replace them with another line, would be the washes.

TLDR: Tie between Badab Black and Devlan Mud, if you consider them "paints."

Asurman blue to cut in dark shades. Gryphon sepia to add a dark must aesthetic to the yellows I nearly always use in painting. Iyandarn Darksun for yellows. Blood red is just brilliant if used correctly.

So much to choose from but that is what I narrowed it down to.
