If you ever get a chance ( you probably wont, but hey - we can dream right? ) for GW ask you to play role in their next 40k movie what would your role be?
I would be a Terminator Veteran - captain of the first company to be precise ( I love Terminators ).

Probably a shrieking Chaos/Genestealer Cultist who dies a gory, entertaining death at the hands of his superiors/space marines/imperial guardmen/hungry tyranids/torturous dark eldar/scheming inferiors/uppity chaos space marines/pretty eldar/horrible mutants/ugly hrud/stray artillery/crazy inquisition/crazier sisters of battle/death world plants. I have a shrieking voice unfortunately (DAMN YOU GENETICS), which means I'd probably play some sort of cultist. Maybe a noob Imp Guard.

A Princeps or an Inquisitor.
I think a Guardsmen movie would rock, or a FPS. Something like MW3 but with lasguns.

I could see that story totally working. Say the youngest son of a high lord of Terra is serving as a guard lieutenant. His father and brothers are killed in an uprising of chaos. As the last scion of an important imperial bloodline, his rescue might be pretty important.

I doubt that a Chapter would devote the resources to it. Perhaps a Vet squad.
But even then, every man must sacrifice himself for the Emprah if needed. So I doubt that anyone would bother to tell him, let alone allow him to go home.

A more plausable story would be a Colonel, the son of a governor, and his newly raised guard regiment are shipped off to some warzone. There they contend with the regimental commissar, the harsh life of a guardsmen, and of course the enemy.

Fine then. Perhaps an inquisitor receives a psychic vision that the Emperor has been reborn, and has been inducted into the guard. He asks an astartes chapter for aid, and they go off to ensure his safety.

Best idea for a "Saving Private Ryan" copy, but somehow I doubt it would ever be made.

The most plausible idea. Perhaps narrated in a first person view?

As an actor (or at least a drama student ), I'd want to be an Eldar - either flavour. A race so ancient and steeped in emotion would be interesting to play, especially portraying the restraint of the Craftworld Eldar. So yeah, a Farseer or an Autarch maybe

Some sort of cackling madman. Perhaps a rogue psyker bent on destruction and mayhem, or a Chaos cultist bent on mayhem and destruction.
I like to go on insane rants in real life, that usually end with me talking loudly and insanely about death and destruction, and finish off with cackling, insane laughter that apparently creeps out or scares everyone around me. I add in raised hands with tensed, curled fingers to really sell the over-the-top-ness.
Just for fun. Being - or perhaps despite being - a formerly crazy person in real life, I find it enjoyable to play to the common stereotypes - apart from actually taking actions. I just say crazy things.

Well, the Eldar have gone the opposite direction and have absolute control over their emotions. This results in them being almost completely restrained with them. They would be very flat characters if you asked me.
Dark Eldar on the other hand would make very dynamic characters, you would have to be almost OTT to play them properly.

On the other hand, they may be like played like Spok. Still have emotions, but under complete control... Yet at times they show themselves with full force.

I'm thinking more like "Young Spok" from the re-hash. Where he beats the out of Young Kirk all of a sudden. Then he gets consumed by Slaanesh for allowing his darker side to come out or something like that.
