Film should focus on the fall of Hades Hive - more than enough there for several hours of film, especially as that contains extremely grim-dark parts to it, like the loaders welding themselves in the cabs of their cranes to fight Garguants, suicide squads blowing themselves up in Ork encampments, civilians arming themselves and fighting the Orks street to street, building to building. Plus it would end with the Orks capturing Hades Hive but having been bled heavily in the process, so wouldn't be a happy-happy Yee-hawww oooh-raaaa 'American' ending, but the sense of a very grim pyrrhic victory for the Imperium.

A film for each Armageddon War.
The First War about how so many Imperial troops fought Angron and his army, and the bittersweet victory: non-Astartes are purged by the Inquisition to the great anger of the Space Wolves.
The Second War, about the arrogant stupidity of Armageddon's rulers, the heroic sacrifice of the Titan Legions, the desperate defense of the Hives, and the actions of Yarrick and the eventual arrival of the Astartes and the toppling of the stupid Governor.
The Third War, it's surprising beginning, the eventual (and indecisive) Imperial victory, the epilogue stating that fighting still rages on the planet's surface...
And maybe a TV series about Yarrick's and the BT's Crusade to prevent the Orks from returning.

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race. A mon-keigh. But still I broke off my wings so that I might carry him easier. I took him from that place, into the snowstorm where our tracks will not be found. He is heavy. And he is dying. And he is slowing me down. But I will save him. Why? I know not. He is still warm. I can feel his blood ebbing across me. For every beat of his heart, another, slight spill of heat. The heat blows away on the winter wind. His blood is still warm. But fading. And I have spilled scarlet myself. The snow laps greedily at our footsteps and our lifeblood, covering them without a trace as we fade away.

Let's see, who would be appropriate for Commissar Yarrick's role...Patrick Stewart might do it. Or maybe Jason Statham.
Any suggestions?

but I would love to see Christopher Walker play as an inquisitor.
Maybe Christopher Lee as a chaos sorcerer.
Arny could be a SM (seriously, he's the only one suitable who comes to mind.)
Bruce Willis could be a vet guard.

It depends on the Regiments, Krieg have Commissars to stop troops from dying in battle.
