Hello Dakka,

If I put 2 Harbingers of Transmorgification with Seismic Crucibles (2 courts) in the same unit does the effect stack?
It would give most units assaulting me a 4"maximum charge, 2" average charge and 1/9 cahance of not being able to charge at all.
Would be nice in a block of 20 warriors with res orb, phaeron and ghost ark support.

Or have I gone wrong somewhere?

I dont have my codex handy, but doesnt the crucible read something like 'a unit assaulting the necrons with the crucible reduce their assault distance by 1d3?' Thus, it only triggers once?

"At the start of the enemy assault phase roll a D3 and nominate an enemy unit . If the nominated unit attempts to assault the cryptek, or his unit, reduce their assault move by the result of the D3 for that phase." pg 85 necron codex

I dont see why it wouldnt stack.

This is my interpretation. It makes a large warrior block very difficult to kill as they are already incredibly resilient to shooting when given the right support. Just watch out for massed heavy flamers!

Could go 2 blocks of 20 with Phaeron etc, have a crucible and tremorstave in each unit. That would be a pretty solid core to an army, albeit quite a few pts.

Slowing unit in their movement as well as assault move would be a real pain.
