http://gamesworkshopjpn.weblogs.jp/pdf/GPC2011-repo.pdf

Sadly,I think 2010 or more earlier contest were more bigger scale and better quality :(
May be because most official shops(AKA hobby center) in Japan were closed.

I did entry used to be...but not this time. Anyway,I have not paint GW models recently :p

Small news from small community.
But I wanted to be known

A space marine in a snowglobe? OK, I guess....

There is some good painting in there, although it's not to the Golden Demon standard, although that may be due in part to the lower standard photography.

Interesting to see, thanks for posting.

There are some good painting examples in there.

But, the human beings in those photos are honestly more interesting to ponder than the miniatures themselves.

Great stuff.

It looks like everyone put their heart into it.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

I like the little diorama, including the one with Captain Titus slitting the throat of a Bloodletter with the back of his chainsword.

PM me if you want me to draw anything related to Warhmmer 40k. I will put it in my gallery for all to see.

I'm glad to see these. Very nice to see people in Japan getting recognized for their figure painting, and I think some of these could stand toe-to-toe in GDs anywhere in the world (except France, because I think they bleed Devlan Mud over there.)

Runnin up on ya.

That poor little girl got a coffee cup as a prize...

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

Wargamers look the same no matter where they are.

Really nice. Loved Harry the hammer. The daemon prince stepping on the dreadnought and multi armed deformed daemon prince seemed really interesting. On that I also loved the dreadnought with slayed daemon piece and the lord of the rings scene with the ring wraiths. Really sweet stuff.

The other side of the internet

Harry the Hammer looked like a copy of the one out of the recent 'Eavy Metal book.

Most of these are good, but there's a couple in here where the paint is a might choppy.

Also I think someone missed the point of a dreadnaught (the pilot is peeping out).
