Hello all! A friend's birthday is coming up, and she is a big fan of the Sabriel book series. I want to make a model of the namesake of the series, the necromancer Sabriel.

I am relatively new to the miniatures hobby (about 2 months now), and I only have experience with 40k Space Marine models - nothing fantasy, nor female for that matter Does anyone have any recommendations for specific models or ranges that might do the trick? I'm open to any ideas!

The only real important features are basically flowing clothing, and a sword. Sabriel also has a bandolier with 7 bells on it - I will have to make this with green stuff I think (another adventure ).

Thanks for any guidance!

I know it's gradeschool, but this made me snicker. Mounted indeed!

Skaven have lots of bells, and while the IoB ones are a bit big, a quick ebay pass should net you some bell bits. I have a Skaven Musician with 13 bells on it. or did before I dopped him and lost some.

Thanks for all the help guys! I checked out all the ranges mentioned, and Zefig's mention of Dark Sword Miniatures did the trick!

Here is an image of the sculpt taken from here:

I plan on removing the falcon, and putting a hanging bell in it's place. I also need to green stuff the other 6 bells on the bandolier!

Thanks again for the help guys; we'll see how this goes!
