So this is the start of my infinity army.
When I first saw the infinity miniatures, I had to have them but I had no one to play. But some guys at my FLGS have just started to get into the game. Giving me a good excuse to sell some old miniatures that where collecting dust in my room.
This is how the adventure is going to begin.

Sorry for the bad pic. I just quickly took one from my cell.

I'm going to put some real effort into this army. First by getting some really awesome bases for them to go on.
I really want a urban feel to them, so I found some awesome bases from Dragon Forge (Just going to make my own bases now)

I really want to have them based and painted at the same time, but I have to order the bases first. Which sucks, because I just spent all my money for the army and now I have to wait till I get some more

I'll try and update this as much as possible
thanks for looking

Awesome! I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Do you have a paint scheme picked out yet?

Good call with the greenstuff. A nice repair that fits with the theme too. I had some trouble with feet too. My Axe-Medic (totally what he's called) looked like he was about to faceplant. And the Haqqislam model was way too forward as well. That was fun.

I have some plastic card and basing material, but besides that. I have no idea how to make urban bases.

So this is a quick update on the bases.

This is just testing out an idea of how to do them. If any one has any suggestions of what to add give some C&C

Ooh not bad! What's the stuff made of?

I really like the cracks on them. I think the sand is a bit boring though, how about adding sand of varying size?

Ya, the sand is really boring, and I'll take your advise on the varying sizes of sand.

The bases are made of a plaster I have. Don't know the name of it tho and I used a old lid for the mold.

A lid! Brilliant! You get that 'curb' sort of look from it. Like broken sidewalks or road. Or concrete barricades and the like.

Good work McGuyver.

It's nice to see more infinity blogs cropping up (must start mine soon!)

I'm making a load of bases for my guard at the moment. I've found a great basing material is bark chippings. Make sure they are dry, then they are easy to flake apart or carve up into rocky shapes for your bases. Pieces of plastic tube or guitar wires are also great for adding quick detail.

I have some rusty guitar wire that I'm planing on using after painting.

Great stuff, good to see another Infinity blog start up!

Nice big collection of minis you have there to start out, and I'm glad you got the Autocannon guy (has to be one of the best models in the range!)

Looking forward to more.

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

Looking forward to seeing what you've got - good work on the plaster for the bases. May have to give that a go at some point

Always have different sand/grit sizes on hand for bases - it really adds a lot to the model if the sand has different textures from dust up to pebbles.

That's a good looking mini DG! The face looks good, and I'm a total sucker for greys and browns. It looks like a setup someone would actually use when slinking through the urban battleground.

Do you have a unit designation yet? He has that little shoulderpad on his left arm that is a prime location to add a splash of color for a unit or squad marking.

Awesome, I can't wait. I'm really looking forward to seeing how you paint up the dogfaces. There's so much you can do with those guys, and I think the models are really cool.

What sort of camera does your phone have? Cause those turned out really well. I love the look of these models. They look like Tier 1 operatives, or modern day spec ops teams. They'd look great in a modern day game without much modification.

That's what I was kind of going for. After seeing the 5th Minutmen on the Infinity website, I knew that's how I wanted my army painted. Plus I wanted to kind of keep the original paint scheme they had on the website.
