Just read an email from GW,

"On the 25th of February, every Games Workshop Hobby Centre across the world will be celebrating 25 years of Warhammer 40,000 in spectacular style. Each store will be running loads of fantastically themed games and hobby activities for you to take part in. There's also a one-time-only chance to get your hands on some exclusive Warhammer 40,000 products."

Any idea what the exclusive Warhammer 40,000 products will be?

I think the list was released in WD but I am not a subscriber.

There's a pin, a mouse pad, a shirt... the limited ed. mini... it was all shown in WD.

I have absolutely no knowledge of the shirt, and yet and I have no reason to doubt that what I claimed is nonetheless completely true*.

*Noting that my list of available sizes is not exhaustive.

yeah,
Me and a friend went today to pick up some 25th anniversary Items.
We got there for 10am sharp to avoid disappointment.

I quickly picked up the 2x limited edition figure (not greedy - one is for a friend who has crimson fists but could not make it.)
a Mouse matt, a wristband, a poster and a couple of pin badges.
The poster is only A3 in size, but is of a high quality I framed the poster in a cheap £2 plastic frame . I think it looks amazing I'm very pleased with it.
I checked both figures and they are both perfect and free of miss casts.

happy days.

I never saw the T- Shirt...

But it didn't stop there!
As part of the festivities they had a sprue box, any three sprues for £5.
.... Oh how I rummaged in there ...
I pulled out an amazing 18 sprues of SpaceMarines.

for £30 I got
1 complete rhino
1 complete razorback
10 tactical marines
5 tactical marine combat squad
5 scouts with sniper rifles
5 scouts with bolters
5 assault marines with jump packs !
plus 3 vehicle accessory sprues and a landraiders sponson weapons.

Result!

Lucky you, I popped in and all I got was the smell of unwashed body and a total inability to move around the store!

Manager was on holiday, but there was nothing special at all, other than some Dark Future/40k affair.

Didn't expect much, wasn't disappointed.

I got my limited ed. figure, the only bubbles are on the fingers of the power fist but all the sharp corners are there so its easy to fill. I was after the poster and the new WD the poster was £2.99 and WD is £4.50 the pin badges were available if you bought a goody bag which had WD the poster the mouse mat (a cloth on neoprene one rather than plastic) and pin badge for £9 so it wasn't a bad deal although i got there at about 10.30 and I got the next to last one so they couldn't have had many. There were also some weird stickers in there that were back to front so I get the impression they are for windows? They were only a small thing so wasn't fussed. There was even cake.

Warhammer world sold out of the badges by 9:30, but got wrist bands for various friends and a load of the small pin badges. Also got a Minitorum Handbook signed and Legion of the Damnrd signed so happy enough

Meadowhall deal was:

free badge with a 25 anniversary purchase.

they had mail order models a "20 held in reserve" but had 10 more sent after a big demand.

the badges had gone by 10am as my girlfriend got the last one (the store opened at nine)
