I'm curious to see what peoples favorite villians are in videogames and why they are. Is it shere badassery, thier plots, or the WFT moments that you'll always remember? Sometimes i play games like wolfenstein just for the crazy enemies.
Personally I love Sepheroth from FF7, if you pay attention to the plot he is so good at manipulating everybody it boggles the mind. Plus he is kind of a badass giving one of the biggest WTF scenes in video game history midway through the game.
Just my opinions but I'm curious what others think.
1500pts Krieg Heavy Armor
I see Noth-ing! I didn't even get up this morn-ing!
My number one favorite? Easy choice - Edgar Ross from Red Dead Redemption.
He's smart, cunning, and knows how to get his way...and will to do anything to win. I don't think I've ever been so mad at a video game character after the ending of RDR

Ganondorf is probably my favorite all time baddie. But I have an unnatural love of the Zelda series cause it was that series that really got me into gaming.
Visari from Killzone... you don't fight him, but just the fact that he is the "mastermind" behind so much of the crap you have to put up with.
After that, Liquid Snake, Revolver Ocelot, Grey Fox, and Vulcan Raven are my faves (really, I wish they would re-release the best MGS game on PS3 for me)
Uh, in not particullar order Ill say some of my favorites are.
Albert Wesker from Resident Evil
Kane from C&C
Arthas from Warcraft 3 (Not to be mistaken with WoW Arthas)
Mengsk from SC 1 (Not to be mistaken with SC2 Mengsk, he didnt do anything)
Wesker and Kane are both cool and calculated bad asses.
Arthas just because of his story as you watch him fall from grace
Mengsk because he is very calculated and brutal but he gets gak done and gets it done with style.
I love Villians who remain cool at all times and who are great at manipulating people. (Arthas was a special case because I liked him from the start and following his journey was cool)
Lazervich and Harry Flynn from Uncharted 2.
King Boo from Luigi's Mansion.
Cesare Borgia family from Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.
Andrew Ryan from Bioshock 1.
Emperor Doviculus is a favorite of mine; how can you not like someone who delivers the lines "Come back when you grow a pair as big as your mothers!" and "I'm glad your mother refused my advances all those years ago, because I can say for certain that you're not my son.... There aren't many who can say that..."
I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.

Well, to be fair some of us have not played FF6.
I think I've gotta go with Ansem from Kingdom Hearts. Next to nothing was revealed about him - his motives, his means of controlling the Heartless, his origin - until Kingdom Hearts II. Throughout the entire game, he was quietly pulling the strings of all the rest of the villains, until you finally confront him in the End of the World. Plus, how freaking badass is that - his evil lair is located in a world built from the remains of destroyed planets.
Other than that, let's see...General Azimuth from Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time was a great villain, mainly because he didn't even know he was a villain until the very end - he was just misguided and bitter about being the last surviving member of his race. He wanted to bring his people back at any cost, and he very nearly succeeded - at the price of nearly destroying time itself.
My Armies:
Kal'reia Sept Tau - Farsight Sympathizers Da Great Looted Waaagh! The Court of the Wolf Lords
For sure it's Trance Kuja from FFIX for me. He is just insane and extremely powerful, and the scene where he annihilates his and Zidane's home is wicked. Shame the same can't be said for the final fight against him, 54000 health......what were they thinking...
Also like Ryan and Fontaine from Bioshock one, what a game!
Irenicus.
Currently at work or I would post his soliloquy from the tree of life...bloody epic.
You can tell whoever wrote his charector had actually read books rather than just watched action films and going "hey let's make this bad guy as bad-ass as possible so everyone knows he's evil!".
Ever thought 40k would be a lot better with bears?
Codex: Bears.
NOW WITH MR BIGGLES AND HIS AMAZING FLYING CONTRAPTION
Claudia - Silent Hill 3. The way she is portrayed makes her look both utterly evil and yet have the kindest intentions (to make the world into Paradise). Its a very well designed character that doesn't have to be stereotypically imaged.
Visari from Killzone... you don't fight him, but just the fact that he is the "mastermind" behind so much of the crap you have to put up with.
He isn't quite a clear-cut villain either. The Helghans were oppressed pretty harshly after all long before the war happened.
