Was looking at the new FW battle boards and was thinking I could recreate with my Hirst molds. Now bear in mind this is a proof of concept. I used pieces I had laying around, that's why a few area painted. The tiles are 1.5 inches each, the FW ones appear to be 2 inches. Thoughts or ideas? Thanks

You know that Hirst stuff is pretty cool, I just cant bring my self to buy them...I am thinking of making a board, and I know how much work it will be, and I also know how much work it will be to cast all those parts.....and I just dont know if I want to go through all that.

more pictures!!! more molds! im so on the fence cause it would be amazing to make a spacehulk themed 40k table (big rooms not too many narrow corridors)

The FW ones have some nice wall detail but are rather boing overall: they look like overprice heroclix terrain.

Your mock-up look just as good if not better, but the uniform floor squares ensures pre-measuring.

Here are my actual WIP pictures. Casted everything last night and now painting up as I go. It's slow going, but in the end I think it will look good. Thoughts?

How tall can you make the actual walls? I mean its okay to have rooms defined they way you have them but if I was to commit to this mold makig shenanigan i'd have to be sure its awesome the floor tiles are friggen fantastic tho

The walls are 1.5 inches high. I placed them on 1/4 inch spacers to raise them. I am still thinking of adding some top trim which would add anther .5 inches. Here is a pic of how they compare to a cryptek and gaunt

Just a shame it costs so much to get Hirst Arts moulds in the UK.

Ok first Wall section is complete, now just to finish the other one and the other trim. I put a Necron warrior in for height reference. Thoughts?

Sweet, with those moulds you can make some amazing stuff.

Needs more weathering to really shine tho.
