Thanks! Yeah having those guys riding blood crushers isn't exactly kosher, lol. One can only hope that the All-Father will overlook these transgressions at the end of the wolf-time, when every soul shall be judged.

Fantastic work. White is one of the most challenging colors to work with. I would think it was easier to paint the entire model white, then go back and place the other colors as needed. I've looked at ways to paint white and an airbrush is the only success I've had. However you did yours, congratulations as it looks great.

Checked you blog out and I'm still in awe over the Khorne Demon army. There is one banner that screams the old 1st edition Realm of Chaos. Awesome work.

Thanks! I put down a bunch of layers of watered down white first, then paint around it. It's definitely a pain because it takes forever and the smallest little thing smudges or marks it. I'm definitely ready for a break.

Thanks. They're helmets from the chaos warriors sprues, with the horns clipped off and the edges filed down a bit to make them fit.

They look real cool, but not really like space wolves.

Completely Disagree with Shredsmore. I 'm not a Fluff master, and please correct me if I am wrong, but was'nt the 13th Company lost in the Warp for sometime and in order to maintain their equiptment, forced to scavange Chaos Gear? Am I recalling this correctly? Therefore, having Chaos bits makes perfect sense. Colours wise, yes they arenot traditional SW Grey, but again, if I have the fluff correct, its completely excusable.

Wow! A great overall force and great job on the whites. "Thunder wolves" are cool, great whip and head conversions too. Overall a cracking job.

Fluff wise they really can't be 13th Company as they should be the original grey, with wolf-men and surely more than 1 wolf pelt amongst the entire force. Another new chapter though that have been lost in the maelstrom for a while???

They began life as a death wing army inspired by Stuart Spengler's death wing that was featured in WD 311. As the codex got older and less competitive they switched over to space wolves. I'm calling them 13th company because it seems to fit best with the lord's wolfiness and the marines riding juggernauts, and the chaos bits scattered here and there. But they're pretty eclectic at this point.

I seem to remember that most people who did 13th company during the 13th Black Crusade campaign stuck CSM bits here and there on space wolves while adding in some of the wulfen.

I dig the fluff on these guys.
