So today I was with my son at a shop minding our own business trying to help these two younger kids learn the game. We were trying to go kinda easy and help them out, but GK are very powerful and it got a little out of hand. Some jerk comes into the shop (dressed up like he was a CSM irl or something) and starts talking trash telling my son his army sucked and GK were for f***. I tried to get him to stop but he insisted going on and on saying his army of 1k sons were superior and he'd kick my son's a** in a 2k point game.

Well first game he starts up telling my son why he sucks and how he is making every wrong move, so my son starts crying and can't play anymore because the tears in his eyes. I tell this man I will fight his 1k sons with my GK, which made my son happy (still in tears). At this point he tells my son to stop crying and throws his model across the room.

We play it out and my paladin squads just tore through all his outdated codex stuff (no surprise). At the end the bad guy admitted defeat (even tho i thought he was gonna go berserk) and just as he was about to walk out the door, he picks up my dreadnought and throws it against the door to leave (wtf???). Then the store owner tells this guy not to come back. The CSM guy replied he will be back for our 1500 point tournament to break all our models and make us all cry like the crybabies we are.

The two kids decided on GK and I will continue to help them because that's what GK do, we are the good guys in an evil world.

Wow! I could've swore I read this somewhere before, but I think you confused the protagonis and the antagonist, if there was even one to begin with...

So, this thread is by a Grey Knight player that did not believe the Thousand Sons player's story could POSSIBLY be real, so is trying to discredit it by lying and telling the story as the opposite of reality?

Actually, I'm the store owner, and what really happened was the two kids beat the father and son GK players, then started trash talking them in front of the TS player. The Thousand Sons player couldn't believe that the GK armies were as bad as the kids claimed, so he agreed to play them, having two good games. Nevertheless, the kids kept trash talking the GK players, so I was forced to ask them to leave. The kids didn't take it well, and grabbed the closest things they could, which happened to be a Grey Knight Lord and Dreadnought, throwing them across the room. I made it clear to them that they weren't to come back. Luckily, the models appeared to be unharmed.

And though the story might be exaturated a little bit (talking about the original from GK), I can believe it since I have seen Grey Knight players act that way when I played against them with my Thousand Sons. Seriously, bet the ones accusing GK of lying are Marine players who have experienced the pain of AP3 Bolters themselves.
