I wish for a boatboard - a mix of snowboard and boat so I can cope with the aforementioned adverse weather conditions.

granted - but since you made it yourself out of some old snow boards and a dingy with some rope it falls apart very quickly as your going down a sheer cliff into a deep dark chasm at about 40 kmh

Granted, you get your fingers unstuck from faildon. However as you are a zombie, you fingers have rotted and are no longer attached to your hands. You can see them on the floor next to faildon (but now completely separate at least)

I wish the deep dark chasm I was heading for leads to a happy place full off cushions.

That ending would be worse than the original. I wanted the ending to be just a straight adaption of the book's ending [with Beard guy's excution being katniss's dream].
