So lately, Ive been incredibly annoyed with Youtube. I didnt notice it before I bought my new PC, because my old PC was about 8 years old or so. Anywho, some vids, load so fething horribly slow, I get annoyed and skip it. Other times I can watch HD vids with little to no loading times, and the rest, Ill be reduced to watching in 360 or occasionally 240 *vomits*


BUT!!!!!


I can go to other video sites and watch them on HD with no problems at ALL! Occasionally Ill wait a second and itll finish the video. So what the feth? Am I crazy, and seeing something thats not there, or is Youtube really acting this way? Anyone? Please? Help me?!?

I have the same problem, some load painfully slow, others right away. I THINK it's related to how many other people are trying to watch the same video a the same time, but thats purely anecdotal.

Youtube is rubbish nowadays. The adverts are bad enough.

Im not kidding, I was watching one of the channels I sub to Hickok45 (seriously, if you like firearms, watch em, its almost like Tony the Tiger shooting weapons) and in the MIDDLE of the fething video, it paused to show me some car commercial......WTF?!!?!??!?!

Agreed so much. I hate when Im say, rockin out to a Pantera style list, and suddenly it stops to tell me about the new Prius............... get FETHED!

I want to build my own car company, that makes coal burners or super diesel or maybe both. That running on idle, create so much exhaust gasses that it starts a mini acid rain cloud slightly above the rear of the car. Maybe it should be a truck, that seems a bit more fitting. Thatll show those tie dye, flipflop wearing feth tards

I hate how insipid all the adverts are. I hardly watch any TV at all, literally maybe about 1 hour a week, because I listen to music or audio books, read, paint, play video games, work out, with that many hobbies I never sit bored and go "lets see whats on telly" so I was blissfully unaware of them..

And then I went to see The Avengers and had to sit through 20 minutes of commercials. :S

None of them were funny, and they seem to all be aimed at hipster douchebags.

I get why they need to commercials, but they need to cut down the number of commercials in half and make the commercials relevant to the video.

If I'm watching a Video about Minecraft or League of Legends or 40k, I don't want to hear about your stoma (Swear to god I get that commercial about 9/10 times) nor do I want cut rate auto insurance. And I definitely do not want to see the trailer for Battleship: the Game, the Movie.

But I was watching Yogscast the other week. Saw a Commercial for prototype two (the one with Johnny Cash's "hurt" playing in the background) Guess who brought Prototype 2? (well next payday anyways)

I don't get any ads watching YouTube in my phone.

More and more people are switching off adverts, so the ones who do pay attention become more and more sought after - and they tend to be a certain "type" of person.
Without generalising, they probably own a Mac

This is ironic. On my cruddy school wi-fi where nothing loads, only youtube does.
But yeah. even physically hooked up to a connection youtube is a fickle mistress

Should be roughly the same one doesn't want to fight because they think it is wrong, the other because fighting is too popular.

Hippies are stronger than hipsters though.

I swear to god that I have had that Prototype 2 advert about every other video. It is really annoying the gak out of me - I didn't like the first game, have never looked up on google and don't want to have the playlist I am listening to interrupted with an advert that is about 8 times louder (anyone else get that - happens on the TV too ) than what I am listening/watching to.

Get itunes, download mp3 files off of youtube, import them to itunes, profit!

Get Firefox, download AdBlockPlus and happily block every single advert you see And yes you can do it for those ads lurking within the video when you play.

Sure I can get the mp3, but usually it costs money or I have to do it illegally. I'd rather not do it illegally.

Watching anime on Hulu the commercials can get annoying when it's the same three in the same order every single episode. I dont care about Kevin Pierce!!

I dont have problems and im just on a laptop, though i do have 20mb internet.

ALso, if you dont like ads get the

youtube auto buffer and disable ads script for your browser, works a treat.

I don't like adverts but it's better than paying them money for the videos...
