I know, I know. This is long overdue. For months people have asked us to allow full size P.A.C.K. Air trays (20.5 x 15.5) to be customized using our Custom Tray Creator®. Well we finally listened and it is now available for everyone to use.

Please follow this link to our Custom Tray Creator® tool and go crazy. No design is to hard and we can cut the foam up to 8" tick out of 1 solid piece. This means that even larger models like the Fantasy kits can easily find a home in this P.A.C.K.

We look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

We also have added a new tray for the latest Forgeworld Storm Eagle Model that can be found under new items. For customers looking to create their own tray using the Storm Eagle cut out via the Custom Tray Creator®, it will be about 2 weeks.

We are currently updating the Custom Tray Creator® again to add the latest Necron Shapes along with the Storm Eagle.

I just looked at it, and I think, if my calculations are correct, that I can fit an entire 1850 GK army in just one three inch tray (perhaps a few infantry are left over), and that's with 6 rhino/razorbacks and 4 dreads, and then fit an entire 1850 BA drop army in a 2.5 tray. So I could roll up with two armies and have room to spare. Madness

You sure about both of those?

I find that the terminator shaped holes work out very well for me in terms of my assault marines fitting, so I use those instead of the standard jump troop holes. I went with a 2.5 inch tray since DA are coming out, and Deathwing are cool, though, if you're going to use it exclusively for jumpers, you can likely get away with a 2 inch tray. The only thing I don't have a space for is the Sanguinor, but I already have the BA tray, so I'm good there. I'm sure BF could add whichever character shaped hole you need there.

And this would likely fit most of my GK army, except for maybe a few infantry. Since it's a 3 inch tray, the models will be upright, as opposed to on their side, and I think I was generous with the proportions, so you might be able to get away with tighter tolerances. I'm also unlikely to use six dreads, so that space could likely be better used by slots for outsized or odd shaped minis.

On a side note, I took my pack air to adepticon this year on Southwest, and I had zero problems with the overhead bins. I'm very satisfied with the product so far.

Not much in the way of tau shape support :( Is pretty nifty though.

That IG flyer tray is tempting - my secondhand Valkyries have their wings all glued in, so they're super awkward to transport. I'll see what money I can scrounge up this summer.

Lt. Soundwave - We actually have everything they have available. Even the Forgeworld bigger ships are under Unique Shapes at the bottom of the CTC.

Keep in mind that most Tau things can fit in standard squares or circles. No Need for custom shapes. You have an endless amount of standard shapes that will help you.

You can always call us or email direct if you need help creating a specific tray.

Hope that helps.
