Kinda disappointed the Yhetees aren't getting a resculpt. The models were either loved or hated.

I am really hoping the rumor of 2 mournfangs a box is wrong. $36 is alot to pay for only 2. I want a unit of 6 and its going to run me $108?

the Tyrant dropping in cost is surprising.

the cost of the Ironblaster/Scrappie is a surprising thing. especially considering all the extra bits the kit will provide.

I kinda expected the Stonehorn/Thundertusk to be really expensive. I will still probably get 2-3 of them, although Mournfangs might hurt this desire. at least its birthday time for me so i get a little help

very dissapointed there will not be new Yhetees...
i always thought they were the weakest minis in the range...
Crocodile Games Whendigo are way better, so may make nice proxies for you gamers (i own a few just to paint 'cause they are so cool)...

the new characters look like a blast to paint, but $40 seems a little high, with a character costing one ugly Yhetee less than a whole box of ugly Yhetees...
thankfully, discounts are easy to find...
one of these badboys may actually end up being my first Finecast purchase...

I'm going to admit that I was wrong about the Ogres.

I went on a tour of HQ in Lenton and all the models are stunning IRL.

The worst ones are the Mournfangs, but only because they look a little "unequipped". Just need to stick more Ogre Gear on them to flesh them out a bit.

Runnin up on ya.

I'm stoked. Looks like release day is September 3 which means pre-orders will happen by this weekend.

Sad news, looks like 2 mournfangs to a box; I was hoping for 3 like bloodcrushers.

Nice to see that the Ogre boxes didn't change.

The Battalion is interesting. The Gnoblars are swapped out for 2 more Ironguts. That's pretty sweet or a little annoying depending if you want Gnoblars or not.

The Thunderstusk/Stonehorn is what I expected GW to price it at.

Ironblaster/Scraplauncher is ok. Not a bad price for how big/detailed they are.

Mournfangs are a little disappointing. Not really bad, but I would have paid a few bucks more for a box of 3.

The characters are pretty good for (supposedly)40 usd a pop. A little more expensive than the metal Butcher/Slaughtermaster, but it's a little cheaper for the Tyrant and you don't need to work with blood lumps of metal.

Well you do get quite of bit of gnoblars from the ogre sprues themselves. Its just they'll start to look a little repetitive (to be fair the normal gnoblars are also a bit repetitive)

Interesting bit about the ironguts though since each ogre sprue gives you 2 bodies so that means you obviously get an extra body sprue. But the ironguts sprue can upgrade x4 bodies. I wonder if that means you'll get some extra ironguts bitz

Hmmm, thats interesting news about the battalion.

so its now 6 IGs, 6 Bulls, and 4 Leadbeltchers?

that seems a little odd. Battalion boxs usually give you at least 4 units.

Why do they not have a model variation with the thundertusk using its magical ice breath? That is currently the only thing that is selling me that model: that I must sculpt magical ice breath!

Strangely enough does anyone else see the thundertusk being ridden by yhetees, finecost might actually be good for something...?

Weren't gnobblers $25 about 2 or 3 years ago. $25 to $40 is a huge increase.

2014 will be the year of zero GW purchases. Kneadite instead of GS, no paints or models. 2014 will be the year I finally make the move to military models and away from miniature games.

But I'll be damned if I can't admit they are putting out some damned fine looking models in the past 2 years. One or 2 exceptions, sure (SR and Dreadknight cough cough), but in general, BA, GK, Khemri, HE and Skaven, Orcs, DE and now Ogre Kingddoms are extremely solid release cycles for me.

Yes MajorTom11. GW seems to have upped it's game in the last couple of years. Don't know what has changed but think it must be a plastic tech improvement. I have my suspicions about how this improved quality has come about but it is good non the less.

Think GW my have found solid ground here, this spells bad things for other miniature companies if true.

WD September confirms most of the above list.
No information about the repacks except the batallion which loses the gnoblars and has 6 bulls, 6 ironguts and 4 lead belchers.
Finecasts of Yhetees, Gorger and Tyrants are confirmed without any details. Finecasts of the Maneaters including Ninja and female are shown in detail with price.
Finecast Goldtooth and Gnoblars are not shown, but knowing GW, they might be released anyway.

Most likely dollars, as the price of the book is $41.25 which is the same as the orcs and tomb kings books

I think people realized the Aracnarok wasn't a fabulous unit, but an ok unit. its pretty scary, but at the end of the day it isn't that hard to wound. you can drop it with handguns and cross bows. heck, a horde of Halberdiers will give it a hard time.
