Is it just me, or does anyone else just prefer FPS on consoles? As much as I would love to have a gaming rig that has better graphics and all, I like how on Xbox FPS games are a little slower and the sensitivity is not as high. In my opinion, it makes things less about reaction times and quick aiming and more about positioning yourself correctly. Don't get me wrong, I still love my PC for RTS games and the like, but I can't stand FPS games on PC....

Depends on the game.
PC is for UT2k4. Xbox for the rest really. I would play BF3 on pc, but none of my friends got it for PC so feth that.

I prefer them on consoles. But I will say, PC has any sniper class hands down. You just cant aim precisely that fast and accurate on a joystick.

I've tried my hand at PC shooters, but I was left in the dust haha. As stated, I leave PC game to RTS, and everything else is on my PS3.

It just seems inhuman on PC. I always find myself feeling almost cheated every time some player spins 180 degrees to pull off a headshot in a fraction of a second.

Yea, I read somewhere that the makers of TF2 did that "timer" thing for the sniper (you know where it charged up) for that very reason.

I don't think the multiplayer portion of any console game allows aim-assist. I'm pretty sure all the official servers have it turned off. So, ya....

This, any player vs player game disables auto-aim.

It's not Auto-aim, but an "aim assist"...it'll pull the gun towards the nearest target when you pull up the iron sights. Both BF3 and COD have them in multiplayer
It especially pulls when someone runs horizontally right in front of your face...and it's fething annoying

I think you'll find my consistent 10% accuracy over 3 CoD games and more recently BF3 disagrees with you...
Though my BF3 %-age may have changed...
Haven't checked it recently...

I think COD had it, ya, but I've never noticed aim-assist on BF3 in multiplayer. When I get on tonight (I play on PS3 fyi, so ymmv) I'll check the servers and see what they have it set to.
