Alright I was looking at the new strom-talon gunship from GW .Then started thinking,with some work and a sacrificial model-kit I could make a badass drop ship for infinity games. So I was wondering what model should I kit bash it with to make something like a pelican or the vtol from the appleseed movie. Kinda thinking the good'ol V-22 but what are your ideas will post this up on my p&m blog when i get the gears rolling but right now give me some ideas guys!

i thought the same, its about the right size and some conversion would make it work.

The stormtraven in infinity also works (when all the guns/skullz etc are gone lol)

And best of all the humble Chim actually fits the size of infinity too , but in that case as a MBT/IFV than a transport

A valk would be a good one too, as long as you keep the skulls and Aquilas off. The biggest thing that might be an issue I would think is what to do with the multi lazer. It appears that laser based weapons are found in Infinity as far as I can see. (If I am wrong feel free to correct me.)

alright how does this sound? front cockpit froma stormtalon, troop compartment from the vendetta, with stromtalon egins as back stabalierz on the tail with the front wings and egines converted to rotate likea true vtol.

yeah...thats the down side when i saw the stromtalon's cockpit I was like that looks just like the fron of a pelican(favorite aircarft ever) dropship from HALO. I wonder why they dont make that as a model kit or toy becase it would save my time and all I'd have to is give it a paintjob to match my army

What about a Tau Devilfish? Its abit more Sci-fi than the general 40k stuff

I saw in another thread the Storm Talon with an elongated tail. It wouldn't take much (a couple of rotors) to turn it into a Apache-ish gunship - which might look real nice in an Ariadnian military compound...

Doesn't really help your Dropship idea though...

Toy shops when Terminator: Salvation was out. It's the action figure scaled one (converted to a 40k guard Vendetta by the looks of the added lascannons).
