So June 1st is officially over here in Swedeland and no prices on the GW website has changed. Does anyone know what's up with this? I want my price increase, damn it!

The price rise isn't due until June 4th apparently.

I was wonderin the same thing in canada, there was no leak on canadian price changes and I'm having trouble finding any changes in price. I'm wondering if it was just the US and maybe australia that were impacted by this.

I've noticed one or two new things since my last visit to game sweatshop's website, like the CSM biker squad. I find it interesting to note that the CSM biker squad is actually $1 more expensive than buying 3 models separately.

16 successful trades as a seller;

Ah, okay. I obviously missed that bit of intel

Yeah, but in the squad box you get options for Champion, meltagun and plasmagun, which you don't get in the single biker box.

Well that's the thing - I don't think GW have officially announced it or if they have, I can't find it; there's nothing on the website or in WD. What they have done is emailed all the price changes to their independent distributors (the date I quoted came from Wayland) and they have also removed all the prices from WD too.

I too don't think they have, thus the winky smiley, hehe. They've mentioned nothing about it on my local GW Facebook page either, and they're usually very open with stuff there (I got very impressed for example when they made a post about Finecast issues a few months ago). I don't hate Games Workshop, but this whole thing is like a bad joke.

Maybe the price raise is for independent distributors only

I still find it very strange that there has been no official announcement on the GW site at all.

They are definitely doing something as this month's WD contained no prices whatsoever. I'm assuming they will probably leave any such announcement right until the last minute, presumably to avoid the inevitable outrage and complaints. I guess even GW don't want a ton of vitriolic messages on their FB page if they can avoid it. Giving people a few days in advance to vent about it would mean more bad publicity than necessary.

According to the huge post on maelstrom games shop, its the 4th that the increase comes into play.

I assume the same thing, but people will vent anyway. Whether it is a couple of days ahead, or at the day of the raises (and on).

However if they don't announce it ahead of time people will vent at the stores instead of online. I think not announcing it in a decent fashion (which it would already be too late for if the date is the 4th) definitely is the worse option of the two.

I just saw the list of the new prices at the local GW.

Some items indeed have an outrageous raise similar to the US, like the Storm Raven & Land Raider going from 52,- Euro to 65,- Euro.

The manager wasn't even trying to sweet-talk it. He thought it was insane as well.

Well, I'm pretty done buying GW stuff, so I'm more like curious how the prices will be set here. Guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Still I feel for the people who get affected by it of course. I mean I look at the Chaos Space Marine box and think how the hell they are gonna increase the price of it? It's already at the limit of what's tolerable in my book.

Just checked out Games Workshops website, and some stuff is just ridiculous. Like the scenery pieces. And the Chaos Spawn? Well done, GW! I'm sure everyone that hated Spawn earlier will love them now.
