Anyone know of any good alternate models for a lord of change?
Not a big fan of the chicken monster.

He/she/it can be fluffily represented by almost anything mutated and of the right size - if you have an appropriate base figure and a well-stocked bits box, you can't go wrong.
I was tempted to try making one myself using a WHFB plastic giant, especially after i saw the two-headed four-armed conversion in WD.
Several of the WHFB monsters, e.g. the Skaven Hell Pit abomination, could be a good starting point.

Those monsters are a bit big though I reckon.
I also have the Vrock hes pretty cool but I think hes a little large. Pretty sure the Vrock is about double the size of the actual Lord of Change model.

Maybe it could help if you specified a little more. As in are you after one that looks like a better version of the LoC or perhaps something a bit different.
I think I remember seeing this fixed up as one and it wasn't so bad.

The Vrock is awesome, but very pricey. Also a bit large as others have pointed out. The Banelords guy is probably about the right size, and pretty cool too.

The banelords one looks cool but its probably more a model I would use for a Khorne daemon.

I reckon with a little green stuff and a different head the manticore (fantasy beast, not he IG missile tank) would look pretty cool. Either the chaos version or the Dark Elf one would be an interesting base and you could possibly implement the Chimera's (again the storm of magic beast) bird head. Alternatively the dragon ogre shaggoth would be and intersting base as well.

Didnt think of the storm of magic monsters.
The Cockitrice would probably be a cool one to use as well.

I use this as a Thousand sons Daemon Prince, and this would be a pretty cool FateWeaver ( necrosphinx)

Might be a while till I start the project, I have a mountain of unpainted models at the moment but I'll certainly start a thread when I start the Greater Daemon.
