So in my last game my demolisher cannon veered off and hit my land speeder. It blew up.
So have you ever killed your own models by accident?

Yes, shooting a Manticore at enemy units on an objective. Scattered onto my blob squad killing 19 Guardsmen.

Deathrayed my own Night scythe once and Telsa arc'd the crap out of my necrons repeatedly...

i once killed 8 of my own guardsmen with a battle cannon..... its scattered 8" towards my side lol. my Friend was pissing him self....

Defiler battlecannon scattered onto a CSM unit.

1. Plays blob guard
2. Loves to use Leman russes every game.
3. I am known for hilariously bad dice rolls...

My leman russes have probably killed more of my guardsmen than all my enemies combined.

That and marbo is incredibly good at blowing himself up

LR Battlecannon Scattered onto a chimera, chimera explodes, killing everyone inside. Fun!

In the old days when 3rd Edition came out, I dropped Whirlwind templates on my own guys on purpose, plenty of times. Str 5 would wound them, but the AP4 meant their armor would save most of them. A unit of Howling Banshees engaged in close combat with them... not so lucky.

I won't lie, I was pretty clutch with "accidentally guessing the range wrong" with my indirect fire shots. Who says you can't fire into close combat, haha.

I love my SAG, so yes, I have vaporized my army multiple times.

Yeah quite regularly I have my Battle Cannon defiler or Plasma Cannon dread go some what nuts for a turn and bomb the gak outta my army... it's to be expected with a chaos dread though...

EDIT: oh and did I mention Kharn accidentally sweeping advanced straight into another combat with a Deamon Prince in it and then proceeding in failing to kill a single Space Wolf but happily chop down the DP... Needless to say I stopped using Kharn after this incident.

I had a rhino get immobilized between two rocks once in the 2nd turn. By the end of the game I needed to get through the gap to escape with an objective. I had the squad assault it and the sgt punched a hole through it with his power fist. The rhino exploded killing one guy from the squad and rest escaped with the objective. It was a friendly game and my friend let me do it to see if I could get through, it was fun none the less.

I've played games with my Guard where I killed more of my own models with blast templates than enemy models. "Danger Close" indeed!

E: Also, another game with my Iron Warriors against Chaos Daemons had his Changeling get to place one of my Vindicator blasts. It promptly pasted most of a 10 man squad of Marines. Goes to show you that when you say out loud "What are the chances of failing an LD10 roll?" the chances of failing get exponentially higher.

LR battle canon scattered back onto itself, blew itself up, and killed 3 guys in the command squad standing by its flank.

Try throwing a Demo charge out of a chimera, having it scatter back, blowing up the chimera and killing 7 out of the 10 vets.

I once had a LR Demolisher scatter back onto ITSELF and then promptly get a penetrating hit.

I've had mephiston get hot and die. My opponent didn't take a wound off him. I no longer use plasma.

I love me some artillery but using 6 bassilisks and hiding them all behind impassible terrain and then firing indirectly has... Mixed results. Lots of pinned enemies, but apparently their spotters are crap because every enemy I seem to kill at least one of my own men... Causing my few footslogging squads to quickly be pinned into submission. It happens. And totally worth it

Forgive me, but until just now I've never laughed out loud to anything I've read on any forum. Full on brilliant.

My favorite is when an IG veteran squad rolls too many Gets Hot! rolls on their plasma guns, takes enough casualties to force a morale test, then runs off the table.

I had my Doom of Malanti shrug off 10 instagibbing krak missiles in one round of shooting and then have his S 10 Cataclysm scatter on top of himself and pop, no more Doom.

Marbo seems to accidentally his own face allot.

Marbo has killed himself so many times with his demo charge. Last time I used him he even managed to throw it backwards...

I lost a dread to its own plasma cannon aswell.

First ever kill in my wargaming history was one of my own Marines from a Flamer.

I used some old marines as target practice for my airsoft.

People have been using plasma weapons since forever.

Probably not as hard as we laughed.

My friend rolled badly on his orbital bombardment's scatter and landed directly on his dreadnought.

Another time we were playing a 3v3 planetstrike (chaos vs several marine chapters). We were using the Preliminary Bombardment stratagem (not sure if that's was the name, it's been a while).

I was given our many really fancy templates. I managed to roll them all either off-table or on our own team. I was then forbidden from rolling any team-important rolls for the rest of the game.

In the same game, Abaddon fought an lone Assault squad sergeant in CC for 3 turns because he kept hitting himself with his own Daemon weapon. And our Mephiston died from Perils of the Warp. (Come to think of it, that game had the most self-inflicted deaths than any other I've seen)
