Hey guys, I'm back from the dead
I just finished up this awesome space wolves commission (my first space marine army ever) if you have any questions feel free to ask!

(The pods need to be touched up, there is some undercoat still exposed on the top fins)

C&C welcome as always, it is good to be back!

Nice work!

Only point I don't like myself, is the color of the faces, the highlights seem a bit over the top, unless they are supposed to represent warpaint?

Also the edge highlights on the drop pod doors look a bit sloppy in places.

You deserve a medal just for assembling and painting 5 drop pods! Man how I hate those things.... boring like crap to paint

I really like the grey that you chose to go with. Its dark and cold, a good representation of the chapter itself. With the exception of the flesh color, I think the saturated yellow and red colors really gives this army a unique looks. There are too many cookie cutter wolves army's out there that all look the same. This army is distinct and original. Very nice work.

4250 points of Blood Angels goodness, sweet and silky W12-L6-D4
1000 points of Teil-Shan (my own scheme) Eldar Craftworld in progress
800 points of unassembled Urban themed Imperial Guard
650 points of my do-it-yourself Tempest Guard
675 points of Commoraghs finest!

The Dude - "Jackie Treehorn treats objects like women, man."

Lord Helmet - "I bet she gives great helmet."

Yeah the drop pods were a bit sloppy I had to go back and redo parts of them before I got them shipped out, thankfully my client had already assembled the all the wolves before they came to me. Painting them is tedious though you are right! I'm not sure if my camera settings made the skin tones look over the top, I took some individuals before I got everything packed.

Love it. The colours really pop, but you still keep the slate grey to keep them to prevent them from being overly gaudy. The sun symbols look great. I love seeing old armies with new, unique iconography to brand them as YOUR army, not GW's.

Thanks a lot Mastiff, although most of the credit for the design of this project has to go to this army's owner!

It's good to see a well painted space wolf army that isn't full of WAAC nonsense.
