I'm guessing the purpose of the Devastator is to just run towards things really fast?

And I'm not a fan of the big Retribution thingy. It just looks like a bigger version of their already-bland and featureless Jacks.

The devastators body sections under the arm plows contain several rows of grenade launchers. It walks up with the highest armor value available in warmachine and then opens up in a series of explosions. It's also very good for displacing things by slamming into them. I agree about your assessment of the Ret colossal. It has a lot of wasted potential.

I think the new khador jacks all look great.

FINALLY!!!! I have been waiting on the second khador plastic jack kit. Might have to get two

I don't think the retribution colossus is that bad really. I think it is the best looking jack they have at the moment.

The Khador 'jacks are beautiful. I especially like the giant helmet look of the Devastator (which is what I assume they were intending), plus the cleaner look gives more painting flat painting area than before.

Not really a fan of the Spriggan, but as a set they are fantastic.

Hah! Nah, it plods towards them fairly slowly actually. As someone said though it and the other one with twin shields have the highest natural armor in the game at 25. Armor goes down a good chunk when they attack though, as they open up to so do with grenades or machine guns depending on which jack it is. Spriggan has pretty hefty armor too, but not as high due to lack of clamshell. It does not lose armor to attack however. Spriggan is widely considered one of the best jacks in Khador. I've been waiting for it to come out in plastic so I can get one.

Plastic Spriggan looks far nicer than the metal one, going to have to pick up a couple of these. Oh, and Hyperion! Oh my! This thing highlights what a slightly different paintjob can do for Ret Myrmidons, he actually looks lovely in the studio scheme.

Any idea when this guy will come out? The model is just fine, but it's his rules that I'm in love with

Misery. Missouri. Who can tell the difference.

I am super pleased that they made the dev in plastic. That bowling ball was a pain in the butt to put together when it was metal. On the base I think it weighs close to a pound of metal. The plastic should be so much easier. The arms were the worst since they are held on by a small rod of metal.

Now that every main faction is getting a second plastic heavy warjack kit, I hope that PP is working on a plastic kit for the Rhulic heavies (Avalancher/Driller/Rockram). Or at least put some more variety into searforge, some new Grundbacks would be equally appreciated.

a thousand times this. All I want to know is when they're streeting. I'm champing at the bit to play a Sear Forge list that has people a little worried for once.

Good news. This is the best time in the hobby. Full of promise. GW lets us down each time and we know it but secretly we're hoping that this is the edition that GW gives us a balanced game that can also be played competitively at tournaments. I'm loving it.

I'm going to Guess September, as the Conquest is out this month, Kraken next, so I'm guessing Hyperion after that as its the next one shown. Then speculate that as these are shown at the same time they'd come out a the same time. Again, Guess and Speculate.

There looks to be something off with the Lance arm on the Spriggan. Could just be the angle, but I'm glad I have the metal already in case it's not.

Argh! You're right!. Super-glad I have an old metal spriggan and don't like the rules for the other 2. The new giant hood bit is a bit excessive...

Lucky for me I never played anything by Nintendo. I grew up in a Sega household.

It's mainly the arms on the metal one I dislike, though the posing is a bit goofy I'll admit. I may have to pick up a metal Sprig and use the arms from this kit and build the rest of the plastic kit up as a Demolisher, depending on how the kits go together.

No excuse. They released the first three for Genesis in '94 as the Wily Wars, had a Game Gear release in '95, and 8 was released for the Saturn.

It's not just the villains, I showed a friend who doesn't play miniature games the stormwall, and he started calling it Megaman. I can kind of see a resemblance, TBH.

Ret colossus looks kinda "meh" really. I don't really feel the urge to part with $130 for one, anyway.
