Ihave officialy run out of things to watch, literaly i have watched all the anime i can, ive watched both seasons of MLP almost 5 times now, started playing then promptly got bored of quite a few games, played the hell out of the minecraft technic pack, fixed evry computer im my posession, done as much painting as a human being can do before getting driven to madness, tried doing D.I.Y (it didnt go well). this is going to be a long holiday.
Conclusion: i either need more anime or ponies or interesting video games (ones that i can be bothered to play) i have something close to 6 weeks to fill with something and i cant just sleep all day (by celestia i want too). can anyone help relive these problems.... please...... anyone......... please.........
Hmm... Well Season 1 of Adventure Time comes out on DVD later this month, That'll keep me distracted for a little while.
But I'm kinda the same way right now. Going through Skyrim's DLC, but that'll fill a couple more days at best. I got some Tetras to paint for my Tau, once again a couple days max.... Hell I might Start Fantasy just so I have two rulesets and two armies to work on to tide me over for some time. And I guess I could IV breed some Trapinches but I want to hold off on any more Pokemon until BW2 come out in America. Let the Smogon Meta Settle.

Have you considered TVTropes? Best way I know of to eat entire days. And it'll probably introduce you to some interesting new animes, and remind you of amazing shows that you haven't seen in forever.
Or, go back in time! Looney Tunes, old Disney shorts and movies, maybe stop by your local Library and see if they have the original Dr. Who shows...
Speaking of Libraries, they can take up time themselves! Just go in and start browsing the shelves. Wander around the Reference and Nonfiction sections, see if you find anything interesting. Look up modelling books. Browse the Fantasy and Sci-Fi sections for interesting sounding titles. I found one book called Forge of the Ancients that was pretty awesome, and the old Sci-fi greats, like Heinlein and Asimov have large bodies of work.

I'm watching Game of thrones during the season break, and I'm working on custom ponies. But when I run out of episodes of Game of Thrones... that's when I'll start to lose my mind...

Oh god! Why would you do that? Why would you remind me I have to wait for new episodes of Thrones as well as Ponies?! Damn you season breaks! Damn you to Tartarus!

I honestly cant be bothered to play through skyrim at the moment, ive had it since launch day and the furthest i have got is puting the disk in my PS3 then playing megaman 9 because thats on the startup menu. I dont want to start watching any of the realy long animes like naruto, bleach or one peice as i will never finish watching them. i have seen an aweful lot of looney tunes and other such disney cartoons when i was younger and have no real intention of watching them again.
interstingly i do have a local library but it is almost entirely childrens books and the few bits of stuff for my age group and intrests is a couple of starwars novels (that i already have my own personal copies of). my local libary is pretty devoid of anything of intrest to people above the age of 7. i honestly wish that this area wasnt so boring, literaly there is nothing to do bar the local games club and thats only on wednesday nights.
well, I've been watching full metal alchemist thanks to SOMEPONY *glares at skivil for making me loose sleep* and it's pretty good. it's not MLP but it's something. other than that I have no games I can be bothered to pla,. guild wars is fun for about a hour and skyrim is getting tedious. silent hill 2&3 almost made me fall alseep (go into a bathroom, find a needle, go to another bathroom and find a thread, then go to each room in a certain order then go back to the first bathroom and use the thread and key to fish a key out of a plug hole the..... ) and I cant physically play through no more heros for the 20th time......I need the new season soon............
and I also ran out of game of thrones episodes to watch

What about the Abridged Series on Youtube? All the plot of the anime but cut down into bite-sized chunks which also parody the show!

there are abridged series but i realy dont want to watch any of that kind of anime, i frankly dont like the premice of any of them, for example:
Naruto: "im a ninja, i must be cool"
Bleach: "not even god knows whats going on here, i must be cool"
One piece: "im a pirate, i must be cool"
i do know there a little more indeph than this but that is pretty much what i get from all of them and find it rather boring, though i may re watch dragonball Z because cartoon network and toonami was my childhood. from 8 oclock onwards it was nothing but Dragonball and other such anime, since i didnt understand Dragonball in the slightest when i was younger (and was probably drawn in by the colors) i think i may watch it again so i can attempt to figure out the plot.
basicly what i got from it as a kid was they would charge an attack for about 3 episodes, meanwhile playing flashbacks. and then miss. then have 5 minuites to escape somewhere and this will then take about 5 30 minuite episodes. DBZ logic makes no sence
I feel that was more or less the Magic of One Piece. But it's just gotten SOOOOOO LONG! You have to dedicate Skyrim Levels of time to watching it.
Each episode is about 23 Minutes At 554 episodes, at 3 episodes an hour (possible if you skip the Opening/closing credits and watch on Netflix/anywhere else commercial free) you are looking at about 185 hours of anime to watch.
I did like when it was first aired on Toonami and watched it faithfully before it was removed from basic Cable. I want to watch it again, but when we are talking 185 hours..... it's Daunting. I just don't think I can do it. I barely got through all of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

The only problem there is that both series are worth watching, and Brotherhood is much better to watch second. Reason being that the original has a lot of filler in it such that the first half of the original is covered in like the first five or ten episodes of Brotherhood before the stories really diverge.

I don't know how to continue with the game ...
Or rather, i probably know how, but my clearly lacking selfesteem (i'm very self-certain, but my self esteem ... is not that good), makes me feel as if i don't know what to do ...
I clearly has ideas, but getting them done ... is .. something else.

Hehe.
I have a history of "just do it" not working very often for me .... but sometimes it does.
I had to call someone i'm quite well aquainted with, and after half an hour of talking i felt icould do something.
..so i have started on making a "basic" Adeptus Mech, that will replace the Iron Hoof in the first missions.
In essence, the plan is to replace all in the "beginner squad" with a kind of Inquisitorial retinue, but far more according to Inquisitor Rulebook rules, than offical WH40K - rules.
However, i do falter in making things, often due to ... ... I can't even describe why, at the moment.
In a way, my lack of self esteem seems to fool me into feeling that i can't do things, even when i know i can.
It might be something else than lack of self esteem ... but i'm not certain what it is, except that i have some mental scarring after ... years of very flawed support.
Anyway ...
Thank you

Thank you, too.
Right now, it isn't the codings or the ideas i lack.
I tend to lack "go", so to speak, far more often than any of those things.
I might be called an attention-seeker, and perhaps that is what i am, since when i get attention, i often find i have "go" too.
.... It try to not ask for attention very often though, since i know how annoying and disturbing that can be.
I'd really like to find a better way, but thus far, i have not.

Oh, I know just what you mean. I can't really get behind something very well unless I'm in the "mood" to work on it. The thing is, don't ever, EVER completely abandon a project that is dear to you. Leave it on the back burner, heck, put it in the freezer and forget about it for a few years if you have to, but always be willing to come back to it- re-do it, build upon it, use what you've learned to further your creations.

This. Just do what you feel like doing as you feel like doing it, but never discard your old projects. If you try to force yourself to doing something, you'll regret the final project. If you just flat out abandon it, you'll always be left working what could have been

Perhaps you do, perhaps you don't.
I can be in the mood of working on something, but still not get it done, perhaps because i unconciously/subconciously secondguesses myself ....
As for projects .... i have at least 10 other games unfinished, totally in the fridge, so to speak.
At least 2 other is other GM8 Computergames.
At least 1 other is a Card Game
At least 2 others is miniature-based Boardgames.
... And the rest is "tabletop" Rpgs.
I take any chance i can to reawaken any of them, except the computer games, as long as i have the "Equestria K" to work on, because i do not want it to join the club of unfinished projects ....
I made a thread about one of the "frozen" miniature games in a thread here on Dakka a few weeks ago ... but i have gotten No_respons_whatsoever to it yet.

How accurate is Dawn of War to TT? Not at all. So don't worry about it. It doesn't matter how close it is to TT, closeness to fluff is probably more important in games like this. That doesn't mean you have to stick to the fluff 100% (in a project like this, that's pretty much impossible) but keep it balanced.
In essence: TT balance doesn't matter.
Keep it fluffy, as much as you can in this project, but don't forsake originality.
Make it fun. A bit of hyperbole is allowed.

It was exactly the fluff i was thinking about.

I just got an idea of the origin to this story, or rather, i got an idea on how to make the original idea work .... with some more fitting tweaks.
However, it involves a heated transmission between Marneus Calgar(, that is on a planet with his Ultramarines, fighting against a kind of Undivided Deamon Prince and its army), and an Inquisitor (that aims to do Exterminatus on said planet ASAP).
However, i don't think i know the ... proper phrasings enough to give it the needed WH40K - feel.
Can any of you help me on that?
Why the planet is supposed to be destroyed?
Well, it involves a mess of a situation:
A "Master Chronus", obsessed with the idea of using the Warp to travel back in time to prevent the Horus Heresy, has invented what he calls a "Warp Inverter" that is supposed to pit the 4 chaosforces of the warp against themselves, thereby resulting in some energy that seems to be the only energy that can make his alleged "time machine" function.
But, as he started the machine, and warp started to get sucked in into the machine, a few things happened, one, the planet's atmosphere started to become red, and the Undivided Deamon Prince, calling itself "Discordant Perpetua" and his army showed up.
Oh, and even though the planet had been noted as an agricultural planet, the Inquisitor hellbent on its destruction, has found in way earlier scripts, that there didn't use to be any planet there ....
The planet?
It didn't use to be there ... and after the hamonized energies from the warp inverter (yup, the warp inverter did invert, kind of nullified, the warp it sucked up,) continued to envelop the planet ... it eventually vanished from the WH40K - universe .....
The time machine also worked, but it scattered several of the things across the times of the place where they came to ....
The planet and most of its regular inhabitants ... well they came "early", and it is uncertain if the planet became Equestria, or ... not.
The Inverter got destroyed, as did the Time Machine ... (?)
The place has no warp, magic is a part of everything natural ... However, there is an oncoming storm, the question is only when it will arrive, along with the Bad Dragon and other things ....
Ohhh.....
Sorry, i got out of hand there ....
At this you may guess that the game was supposed to be really large, but i guess i can be happy if i manages to at least pull off a fraction of it ....
Was once trying to make a 2D action-strategy scroller based on a mix of WH40K & MLP FiM .... but is no longer.

So I actually ordered the new 40k rulebook, alongside the Fantasy Rulebook and the VC army book, so I now have two rulesets/metas to learn and 2 armies to play.
Should give me enough to fill the hole between now and season three.
Only problem is now I have to fill the time between now and Wednesday (I spent the extra money to send it Priority Express).
.....
Also spent all of Friday and Saturday studying my HAM Radio General test. After 45 consective hours of Studying, I did pass my test and killed some time. Gonna start on my Amateur Extra so I can try and fill the void of Noponies.
