Hi there i recently had to replace my old razor saw so went into my local Games Workshop store only to find them charging nearly £15 and from what I've heard the Citadel razor saw in question isn't that great. So anyway can someone possibly give me a better alternative preferably cheaper as I'm pretty sure i never paid that amount for my old one although that was a fare few years ago.
Also knowing the blade thickness would be helpful along with it being able to cut through GW's older metal miniatures.
Cheers.
Jay.

If you don't mind shopping online you could check out Micro Mark - http://www.micromark.com/. Might find something on there, and most likely cheaper then GW. I seen all kinds of different saw blades on that sight. Saw a razor saw set for $15 had three different sizes, plus a few knife blades as well.

I know this feeling :(
I got stung on a citadel pinvice... Couldnt find my 10 year old one for the life of me, and needed one that day. GW is the only store in my town that has a pinvice so I was stuck without ordering one. Not to mention the newer one being significantly more crap aswell as inflated price! lol
I dont actually know what size the citadel razor saw is... but theres lots to choose from. X-acto is the usa main manufacturer, they do seem to cost a little more in the uk (probably importing cost) Im not sure if Swann & morton (who make surgical scalpels and bone saws) will be a good brand but they are uk based I beleive.

Thanks for that i had been looking at the Gale Force Nine Bone Saw http://www.maelstromgames.co.uk/index.php?act=pro&pre=gf9_hob_mod_tol_151_000 as I've heard good reviews about it for it's price.
But I'll probably get the X-acto one you linked on payday due to it having two blades.
