the hellbrute is basically a dreadnaught with a new name.

Cultists are basically IG infantry platoons that can be taken in different sizes, have a worse save, and are slightly cheaper.

for real rules, buy the set.

Why the lol at the end? It's not a punctuation mark and nothing's funny. Please work on your spelling and grammar as well, as your post is a chore to read. Nice run on sentence too.

Cultists were already included in the 3.5th edition CSM 'dex but were not very popular. It appeared that nobody used them.

Brothe SRM is always complaining about grammer and punctuation.

He also likes to say that reading is a chore. It's become his standard responce to everything.

Who gives a crap about post count? People who type like this is an AOL chatroom bug the crap out of me. Decent typing is one of the forum rules:
Please remember that posting and reading online is a visual format and as such the spelling, grammar and look of your posts is the only way others understand what you are saying. Therefore, in order to be polite, all users are expected to make an effort to use proper spelling, grammar and punctuation and should refrain from using internet shorthand or other distracting methods of writing, such as writing a post completely bolded, with capital letters, in a strange color, etc.

I'm really excited about it. I heard they're going to be a lot better, plus all the models from the new starter set will be usable with them.

As a discussion grows in length, the probability of a comparison to Matt Ward or Gray Knights approaches one.

LOL I left those for Brother SRM to jump on. Guess he didn't catch it with his spellchecking eyes. (type Grammar in the search bar)

Seriously... Grammar applies in school. Or if you're writing a novel. Not on the interwebs where noone cares.

I'm guessing cultists don't get orders like IG. But they'll get marks and maybe something else?

More like 'who gives a crap about being mature?' right?

For a community made of international people, the whole 'decent typing is a forum rule' thing is pointless, considering that for alot of people english isnt a first language.

Get off your high horse and argue about important things, not pointless, minor things.

I've not seen the full rules for Cultists myself yet. There have been some leaks that i have seen:

4 points per model
Can take special weapons but no heavies
Come with an autogun/lasgun as standard.

The closest unit to that i can think of is the Workers Rabble from the free FW Renegade 'dex. That might give you a base idea to work from. Here are their details:

WS2
BS2
S3
T3
W1
I2
A1
Ld6
Sv 6+

20-40 per squad
4 points each
Can havea lasgun or autogun (not sure what the difference is tbh)
1 in 10 can take a flamer, grenade launcher or heavy stubber.

Why are you posting that when the Chinese leaks have already given us their exact stats? They're Guard-level with a 6+ save.

8000 points of XI Legion the Space Vagabonds, they can adapt their tactics to represent any and every Legion and Chapter as needed because they were created by the Emperor to be the ultimate tactical power. They have faked their disappearance in order to infiltrate every part of the conflicts in the galaxy.

8000 points of Tau/Craftworld Eldar/Necron because the Space Vagabonds can also emulate their wargear and tactics.

Victories: ALL
Losses: NONE (My armies have the psychic ability to conjure a cataclysmic storm whenever they are about to lose. This allows the Space Vagabonds to teleport away while releasing power waves that destroys the battlefield and so every battle is a victory)

I agree with SRM. Maybe not they way he went about it, but the sentiment.

As for the OP, I love the look and I can't wait either.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss
