I just got myself some melta guns and a heavy flamer and I have no idea how to make a proper burn muzzle, can anyone link me a tutorial for that, please.

This is the technique I've been using:

I've been pretty impressed with the results, too. ^_^

Don't have enough browns D:
I guess mixing Calthan Brown and white/black paint will do, right?

I'd imagine so, yeah. I suck at mixing, so my experience with that is... limited.

If you don't have many colors and are limited to what you listed obove, I'd go for black. Yeah, black.
On the exemples below, I used the following colors :
- for the flamer nozzles (first two marines on top) : boltgun, brown wash (devlan mud) overal and a thin layer of watered down black (chaos black) at the end of the flamer.
- for the plasma gun (mid-picture) : boltgun, black wash (badab black) overal and a thin layer of watered down black (chaos black) at the end of the flamer.
The melta are of topic because they require colors that you don't have. ^^

I happen to have all the colors you mentionned for flamers, I'll try it out. Thank you.

What I do: prime black, drybrush w/ a boltgun metal type color, paint with thinned brown (don't fill in the grooves or gaps though, want them to stay dark), paint with thinned gold, wash with brown, drybrush tan, brown, black, dark grey, light grey, wash with black.
Ends up looking like this:

What I always do is first paint the gun as normal, them drybrush most of the tip of the gun (about 3/4) with tin bitz then drybrush about 1/2 the tip in black paint. Quick and dirty.
