hey alot of you in the UK mite be aware of the troll trader on ebay , well they now have a new website and a new bricks and mortar store with a good non GW range ,
the store is in truro cornwall just 2 doors down from GW truro and looks really good with a full gameing area and a large range of stock.
so now us cornish dont have to travel to janner land {england } to be able to pick stuff up.

thank you for your help in shielding us from the rest of the country my only complaint would be you do seem to take the summer off as alot of them get past you lol

Wow, I'm about to start work on a diorama and they have heaps of terrain and basing products for what seems to be pretty cheap.

This is how Maelstrom got me back in the day. I haven't ordered from them in a couple years because of stock issues they seem to be perpetually having.

The only suggest I might have is more subcategories.

Under Flames of War, if you click German, you get a huge dump of items. What about if you could choose infantry? Or tanks? Under Warmachine/Hordes, I clicked on Menoth and got a big list of stuff. What about if you could choose Warcaster or Warjack?

Or what if you simply had the products show up in those categories. All the warcasters first then the warjacks, then units, then solos? Or all the command stuff, then tanks, then infantry, etc.,?

You also have Coat D'Arms paint. Nice. I'm just starting again with 15mm WW2, so I may have to order a few colours and a tank or two to give Trolltrader a try.

I picked up the Mantic Warpath starter set 'Fate of the Forgestar' from this TrollTrader website a few months ago, i initially thought it was a mistake as they listed the boxset as only costing £25.95 while Maelstrom Games wanted £44.99 for it. I purchased anyway semi-expecting an email stating their error, but i never received one and my package arrived roughly 2 weeks later.

They still have it listed over on the website for £25.95 if anyone is interested.

I've bought some Micro Arts buildings from them a couple of times, at a price lower than elsewhere, and my orders have always arrived promptly.

Well, I placed my first order with The Troll Trader. I expect everything will go fine as it's hard to get 86,000+ positive feedback on eBay if you have a habit of messing things up. I'll report back either way.

So i went into have a look today after spotting it last week and I've gotta say im impressed they have only been open a few weeks and are still getting settled in but the stores great with a huge range avalible from mantic /privater press /magic /scribor /malifax flames of war /drop zone comander (tempted buy this one)/ /dystopion wars and others also the most paint pots I've ever seen in my life lol from p3 /army painter /vallejo model colour and air plus mig pigments and brushes. All priced as the website so cheap.

As for gaming space they have a whole bank of tables for card games enough for about 10 games at a time. And there are roughly 6 good sized game tables with a nice range of terrain that are free to use. there's also a painting area with room for 5 (far more than the local GW ) as i said they have only been open a couple of weeks and have already held a warmachine torny and a magic one and are open late most nights for gaming.
The staff the very friendly and had great product knowledge and interacted really well with all the customers that were in (unusual for game stores I've been in lol ) .

And the shops easy to get to with a ncp carpark out the back of it.
So all in all im really pleased that Louis has opened up this store it's just what we need down here in the south west and i can see it going from strength to strength.

Also, my order shipped yesterday. It's really refreshing that when a store says something in stock, it actually is.

Can't give them enough praise. Just wish there was something IN the infinity part of the website..it was just a placeholder last time I checked.

Thanks for the recommendation and pointing that out. I ordered a copy last night and received an email stating that they had shipped it within about 30 minutes, which was pretty novel. There's a fair bit of other stuff I'd be interested in if they stocked it - stuff for Warlord Games' Bolt Action and Hail Caesar, Puppetswar and other Polish bit-makers' parts as well. I'd probably get some of those Warmill counters when they go up on the page. I'll keep an eye on the Scibor and Avatars of War stuff as well, since my previous go-to place for those is ...a little slow on fulfilling orders and poor at stock control.
