Bounding Dark Angels Assault Marine

Sorry if this has been covered, but I did a search and couldn't find anything.
Does anyone know of anywhere I can find lists for Horus Heresey era armies? (Space Marine or Epic 40K)
I'm looking mainly for 'traitor' forces such as Lunar Wolves, World Eaters, Death Guard, etc.
I'm not so bothered about rules, I'm only wanting to do some as a painting/modelling projects.
I think I'll probably strike out here, but it never hurts to ask.

I'm not sure if they ever made specific models, but you can get space marines in MK5 (crusade) armour.

The original games Adeptus Titanicus and 1st Edition Space Marine covered the Heresy, but apart from basic points values for types there was no real Army Lists.
Most equipment would be from the same basic stock so paint and convert as you see fit - you may want to look for earlier versions of things like the Whirlwind and try and get mk1 Land Raiders but apart from that.
At epic scale noone willl notice if the armour does not have studs - well most will not

I realise you posted this some time ago, but this might be the thing you are looking for, a WIP list being designed by the guys at Tactical Command:

Forgeworld has models and in the Forgeworld books they do background info on the armies.
The books are pretty expensive, i own a couple that i found used on ebay for a good price.
The models are amazing. They go all the way back to MK2 Crusade armor. They also have the weapon sets and extrememly detailed shoulders and armor plates for your rides. They can run pretty steep but i have FW conversions on all my armies. They bring out so much detail, and as i am no good at green stuff conversions i love them and they are always worth the price tag.
Best of luck to you on finding a list. The newest FW book Horus Heresy Betrayal is $120. I have seen it at my local shop and it is amazing but i have little interest in a heresy era army so its a bit expensive for my blood.
Again. Best of luck!

Hopefully one day i'll have an army! |

The OP is asking about Epic 40K, not the regular version....

Proper* army lists were printed in White Dwarf:
Imperial Guard: 125
Space Marines (generic including variants for the big four): 126
Squats: 127
Orks: 128
Chaos: 131 & 132 (actually post-heresy chaos forces)
* tho admittedly the generic marine list in particular was so lacking in restrictions that it was kindof meaningless.
