It's the herald of Nurgle that comes with the Forgeworld Daemon prince Mamon. Imagine a large slug with arms (one mechanical) and a shroud of flayed flesh covering it's head.

Battled today - 2500 pts Daemons vs Wolves and Crimson Fists. Sadly I lost heavily. I got shot up pretty bad before I could get my Daemons into close combat. Good game though. Trouble is I lost a unit of plague bearers and Uraka in deep strike tragedies. I think I need to rethink my strategy - perhaps risk deep striking all the heavy stuff first to try and open up all the Rhinos. When I did get into close combat I kicked ass - it just didn't happen much - not enough shooty stuff either - well, those are my excuses, here are a few pics:

Ah... but the painted bits are very nice. That means a win no matter the score!

Cheers Gits'. We're thinking about doing some kind of seige next time, maybe another chance to un-leash some super heavies! As for the Daemons - I need to have a rethink and get in some more fire power. Maybe I'll enlist some Tzeentch for this.

Hey there ... Loving the army - amazing posing!

Just a quick question: Which swords did you use for the samurai berserkers? I cannot find them on Perry miniatures

Thanks

Hi WingWong, check out this link:

http://www.perry-miniatures.com/product_info.php?cPath=23_38&products_id=2325

But I have to say if I made some more I'd use these:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kromlech-Vibro-Katanas-/160785582038?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item256f9147d6

from Kromlech which look a bit more like a power weapon.

Not posted much as I've been really busy with work and stuff, but I've nearly finished the first of two blight drones, painting all done just waiting for the base to dry before I finish painting that - hopefully pics tomorrow. The second of the two is also well underway.

Question - I was in Bucharest in Romania on business at the start of the week - I think it's one of the first cities I've ever been to where I didn't find a GW store! (except maybe Nairobi in Kenya) - do they have Warhammer in Romania?

Vallejo paints (as usual) - dead flesh base - washed with brown ink, washed with MIG light and dark rust, highlighted with more dead flesh - easy - that why I like painting Nurgle!

OK. So here we have the final blight drone, the finished unit and a pic with other minis for an idea of scale especially for Captain s' - you planning on scratch building some of these? It's something I'd like to do instead of buying more (three units each of three blight drones would be great!) In the siege of Vraks book 3 there are some nice alternative ideas for blight drones (you may find this page on Google images). But now I'm working on my Khorne terminator lord with lightning claws.
