Well, PDFs were what we were looking for. I can't do that, as for 6th, we'll see how different it is. It might not be that much different.

Joshi, I would be using openoffice.. it's practically microsoft word but simpler, though it can save things as PDFs. I believe you can get it free, so you should search around the net. If you can't get it, then I'll help make a PDF at some point, though my time to devote to this will likely be quite limited.

I don't exactly have a massive amount of time either...

We need someone who does then.

Ok, I had a shot at it, and I think I got most of the entries.
I'll attach the original word doc as well, just in case you want to make any additions or edit it (you'll want to, its very messy)

If you want to make a pdf with word, you can just save the file as pdf.
Of course, this is with Word 2010, so I don't know if it'll work with all versions :/.

As I said, I think I got most of it.
If you wish to add yourself to the pdf, you may download the doc that I attached and make the addition.
I may then convert it to a pdf, if you can't do it yourself.

How'd you get it in PDF by the way, when I try to export my Dwellar Codex as a PDF it always comes up with an error. I even downloaded a tool it still didn't work.

It should mostly all be there.
The only entries that are missing should be :

All of the Apoc class units (this is a codex after all)

- trolls (couldn't find them)
-converters (too complicated, didn't know if it was finished or not)
- Da Kommizar (see converters)
- Kroothawk (couldn't find it)
-moderator (couldn't find it)
-administrator (couldn't find it)
-veteran painter (couldn't find it)
-dakka nerd (couldn't find it)
-basement (no trolls == no basement)
- Rumor Monger (couldn't find it)

Everyone knows people who wear trench coats are infalably awsome and always seem to walk away from the vary worst of battles with only a scratch. The trench coat gives master of ordinance a 4+ save and a 4+ invunerable save already included in the profile. this extends to any vehicle he is in.

2.5LB lump hammer
master of ordinances trusty lumphammer this has seen him through many skirmishes with chavs
The lump hammer gives master of ordinance +2 strength

Obsidian power sword
This is a 2 handed sword based on a bastard sword and is so dark is rumored to be made of pure nothingness. when activated red lightning crackles over it.
The obsidian sword gives master of ordinance Rending and Instant Death. In adidition every time someone hits master of ordinance in CC then roll a dice. I f you roll higher than the opponents to hit roll then it is parried and dosnt hit.

Plasma pistol
master of ordinances plasma pistol is phased to give a slightly higher rate of fire.
R12" S7 AP2 pistol 2 gets hot

Vampire
master of ordinance is a vampire.
For every wound master of ordinance inflicts in CC he regains 1 wound lost earlyer in the battle. this cannot take him beyond his starting total.

RAGE!!!!!
if master of ordinance is wounded then he must take an LD check or fall into a mad rage. While under the influence of this rage double master of ordinances S, T and A and he becomes LD10 and gains fearless but he must move towards the nearest enemy in LOS running and assaulting if possible. if he is in a vehicle he must drive straight towards them tankshocking if possible and assaulting from the vehicle. He may not go to ground and must always take the quickest route even through dangerous terrain but not impassable unless hes in a skimmer. He may end his rage if he passes an LD check.

Panzer Ace
master of ordinance may choose to take over a freindly vehicle. if he does so then it gains his WS BS and A even if it didnt have them previousley. if it has no S then it gains master of ordnances S. master of ordinance may leave any veihcle voluntarily in which case he counts as an IC. He counts as an IC. if a vehicle is destroyed while master of ordnance is in it he automaticaly ejects.

But You're a confusing beast. Are you CC, a tank commander, what? Also, the Obsidian sword seems too convoluted, and you'd only get the benefits of either the hammer or the sword in each assault phase.

I'd say either a tank commander chronus or pask style, or a CC dude (although we have quite a few of those already). Both just seems to be OTT.

Should we maybe get in to a new codex, by the group :THE DAKKA CODEX CLUB! I like the sound of a dakka group. LIKE FACEBOOK! How about: Codex Minecraft!

Erm... I think I have enough to do in the meantime. This was fun and all, and the finished product will be great, but I can't really go for codex after codex... at least not unless GW employs me.

With 6th ed round the corner I'd be surprised if we didn't end up having to redesign half the rules for this anyway.

Praying it isn't too different. If it is, well, we'll be able to get it done fairly early into 6th.

From what I gather it's the best of 5th ed 40k and 8th ed fantasy rolled into one.
