league loiter!...er...league lurch?...er...

Just back from the twins soccer practice. I know I'm out of shape, but really feel it when one of the two coaches didn't show and I had to fill in and play soccer with 8 eight year olds.m kids and I showed up early and practiced for a half hour before the hour scrimmage. My side lost terribly, mainly because the goalie couldn't stop a shot. You'd think a 6'5" 300 pound guy who is half the size of the goal might be able to stop a shot. this is a young healthy mans game.

The league will be well represented...hopefully.

If the computer can't size right, may have to like me, old fashioned trace a line and cut inside the lines with the x-acto on the plas-sheets.

Well, that's what you'll do with the printed graphics anyways, it's just a good idea to get the size right

Hence why i draw around the pieces, cut inside the lines not past the lines, learned that a way back when ,making the scratch uber tanks.

Problem is it is printing a piece that's 4" x6" down to 1.5" x 4" so not even proportionate. I already deleted the file, will try to find another file to make it work. Lawn work today as well as two hours at the License bureau with nothing to show for it.

The kids have there carnival at school tonight, so I'm there with them now to be first I the rides.

The carnival is for the end of our school year. They have a week and a half left before summer vacation. They get a full vacation this year as summer school was filled up with students who had to make up classes.

Got some work done this morning on the bridge. Didn't know how to make it work, so I just started cutting and gluing. After a few minutes I realized that my bridge was just the right size for my truck. Not planned, just worked out that way.

Now I just need to find the best anchor point for the pistons and set the whole bridge on a sheet of plasticard.

Inspiration dried up on the landing platform temporarily, so went back with this project. Hopefully have time today to start playing with the airbrush, but with Mother's Day tomorrow I need to come up with something. The wife doesn't appreciate me buying or building her terrain so my focus might be off.

ha! we celebrate in winter such things... try walking around with tights in cold weather ...

Well, weather here is beautiful for a change. Decided to do some outdoor work. This old house needs work, and we bought shutters to replace he original ones on he front. After getting he old ones down I opened the new shutters, and found a bitz drop I wasn't expecting. The shutters are packaged back. Back with eight lovely plastic shipping blocks inside. I think they'll make great piers for necromunda




Got to love housework . I didn't have the right masonry bit so I had to go to the hardware store to get those, an will be leaving for the twins soccer match shortly so the shutters I'll have to wait till tonight.

I like that look! Free plastic is the best plastic. It's chilly and overcast here, we got in a nice bike ride before the rain. hopefully the trend continues of us getting your weather the next day.

That's what she said yes mentally I am younger than my kids.
The trucks not that big, the tires are from marine bikes not ork vehicles, so that does throw the image off.

Done with the shutters, hopefully I can do something with the plastic spacers I got.

Oh and in other news my kids won their game, 2-1. They lead the league in first place with a season rank of 2-0 undefeated baby

Had these parts for a while, so with only a few minutes of free time I decided to knock together another walkway. Think I'll try something different with the other spare parts I have.


Went to the outlet mall with the family, momma got to go nuts shopping best gifts are the ones you pick out yourself. I also saw this in one of the toy stores. I passed on it so the wife could feel the trip was for her, and not a regular trip.

It's a Melissa and Doug "over the river bridge", a working drawbridge that has the wooden tracks for the kids trains. Would make a quick and easy toll bridge. Has working gears and all for $29.99 at the outlet store. May check ebay, but I think my bridge is doing good for my purposes.
