I’m hoping creepy baby is Soulblight, but Ghouls make sense. I would love for GW to expand the ghoul ‘family’, with children, more female ghouls etc… but I’m not sure how far they would be willing to go….

Wrong number of digits for either ghouls or skaven. I think this may be something entirely new. Maybe it's the destruction type beastmen people keep asking for. Not actual beastmen mind but in the vein of Kragnos.

It looks too close to the other RE for it to be Huron's friend. Though I imagine it will end up serving that role for many people.

Apparently it's gonna be a thing now that titan sized models are infested with tiny creatures. Creepy baby tangled in beard and creepy baby sitting on a skull probably go on a new Destruction/Beastman titan.

Yea, I think they're dressing for a larger critter. With ash waste coming I can't help but wonder if these little dudes will be for some big scavvie or something.

We know a new gargant is coming, right? Since the rumor engine basically showed the current gargant kit, but GW says "its new" when asked about it.

What if it's an undead mega gargant? That would explain the beardling, and maybe this new dude is sitting on a skull helmet?

According to someone a few pages back, they're supposed to represent full size beastmen riding the shaggoth.

For what it's worth, in the Painting Masterclass: Shaggoth in AU WD #285, they are referred to as "imps" on page 53:

"Terracotta was used as a basecoat for the imps in his hair, with Vomit Brown added for each successive highlight stage."

Whilst one can appreciate the optimism it's hard to imagine this is realistic as a prospect just yet.

"Evil" Elf doesn't really narrow it down...

Out of the box thinking could also lead to another Vampire, something Slaaneshi, or possibly Cities of Sigmar or Stormcast. I do think it is Age of Silliness-related, rather than 30k or 40k, though.
