Subject: What are your thoughts on the rave scene?
So lately I've noticed that raves are becoming more an more popular (though very different than the ones in the 90s). I myself don't see anything wrong with them and I quite enjoy listening to the music.
I started to wonder what other peoples opinions are, so, what do you guys think?

Crappy music, strange drugs, strange clothes and generally disgusting people? No thanks.
I admit my knowledge of Raves is limited to pictures of girls with pacifiers and pink fishnets and that one episode of Skins where Effy goes to a rave and gets kidnapped, so her brother has to save her.

If you want to hang around in a dark room with flashing lights, and repetitive electronic music with a bunch of strangers without the drugs you go to an arcade. Ahh how I miss the 80's.
The arcades have been making a comeback though.
All in all, Arcades > Raves.

The best part of a rave is watching a few hundred/thousand people all wearing nothing but white and all heading in the same direction. They look like right tossers they do. Especially with their dummies and glowsticks hang off their necks and wrists.
I'll stick to gigs in dingy pubs with bad lighting and cheap jugs if its all the same to everyone else.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

I had a blast with them in my late teens/early 20s. Now that I'm pushing 40, I'm too damn old for that stuff anymore.
