OOC: Been kinda busy today, so I'll just say Wade was fething off somewhere or something. And Jordan had more personality than Boromir to me, Vanden. But hey, your characters, so I'll shut up about it.

OOC Yeah, I think you're right. Oh well, can't change the past now anyway.

Plus I haven't had the best of days today, so I guess this was one of the things I could take out my frustration on.

OOC: Hope everything's alright. But the room has plenty of deus ex stuff to bring her back if you ever wanted to.

*Billy's gut wrenching sobs are heard by Morrigan who carefully eases herself up and limps towards Jordan's room to see what happened with a extreme sense of dread*

*walks into his bedroom while chewing on a chimichanga*

*lays down and turns on the TV*

Ooc: Well, I have an idea.. Trade Benny's wifi cloud service for Jordan. It teaches Verviedi to stop messing with life and death, and it puts a pressure on Benny to stop running out in front of bullets.

Bic: [Bridget holds Billy's shoulder gently] You need to come away... you shouldn't be seeing this.

*Billy shakes his head and continues holding Jordan tightly and crying. Morri limps into the doorway*
Morrigan: Oh... oh no... Billy...

*I slowly rise*

To Cal: What happened?

*Hears sobs close by, Looks in there direction questioningly*

*sees Jordan and Billy*
*shakes head and mutters*

Cold... She's too cold...

Ooc: Forgot to say, in sorry you're having a rough time Vanden. I hope stuff gets better.

Bic: Billy, she's still going to be here, you need to come away. For your own sake. [Bridget looks to Morri] Staying here will kill you as well. Please.

*Morrigan winces and slowly eases herself down next to Billy*
Morrigan: Billy... I'm sorry...
*Billy sits in silence and misery cradling Jordan*


*To Roland*
Cal: I helped you... now I need to see if there's anything I can do for someone very close to someone very close to me...

*nods*

She is right. No one will touch her.

To Cal: Jordan...

*Stands up and limps towards sobbing*

*Sees Billy cradling Jordan, a look of horror and sadness crosses my face*

To the Room: How did this happen?

*Billy doesn't move*
Billy: It's my fault... I should have moved... should have taken her back... shouldn't have gone... my fault...

[Bridget sighs] It's not your fault, Billy. You cannot control fate, and you cannot change things that are written.

There will be something we can do. But in this state you cannot do anything. Please, come away. Rest. Someone will stay with her, she won't be alone.

Come on Billy, listen to Bridget. No one will touch her, I would make sure of that myself if I did not have kindred to lead. Grunak will stand guard in my place.

Billy: She was hurt saving me... it is my fault...

*Cal arrives and hands a small something to Morrigan*
Morrigan: Billy, this is for your own good
*Billy looks up wildly, ready to try and fight when Morrigan jabs a hypodermic dart into his neck.
He slumps and Cal catches him while Morri catches Jordan and rests her on the bed*

Cal: I'll take him to his room.

Morri: I'll go too. I wait with him until he wakes up... Thank you Bridget, Boran, everyone...

Cal: But in your conditio-

Morri: No! I'll do this. Black Hawk isn't here and he'll need someone close when...

*Morrigan doesn't finish but follows Cal leaning on the wall and sits heavily in a chair next to Billy's bed. Cal puts Billy on the bed and looks at Morri*

Cal: It's not his fault... it's m-
Morri: Don't. Don't even start with that. You did everything you could. I mean it. Now go, I know many of your staff were injured by the spider thing. You should try to help them...

*Hunches down next to Billy*

To Billy: I am so sorry Billy..

*Looks down at Jordans corpse*

Go now. Your journey is done. And may we meet again, in the clearing, at the end of the path..

*Grips Billy's shoulder*

Billy lets go for a walk? I know this is hard... but please, a walk is for the best..

[Bridget lowers shoulders] Not what I'd have preferred, but he was going to make himself sick...

When he's calmer, we can think of something. Her soul will be out there, if I even had a clue where to start looking, I would.
But a few hours of rest, and we can all think clearer. We could maybe negotiate with Death. Wade at least would know how to find her...

[Sighs] But you have all got to stop blaming yourselves. I can feel it in the air from everyone.

[Vox arrives from Yarrick]

++ We have finally regrouped with the remaining imperial forces. We're nearly into the capital. Things are going well, but slow.
Benny reappeared, tell Kimmy he is safe. We have him doing the vox signals and drills.
Half the men think he is a daemon from the way he reappeared.
Amelia is doing really well in her role as a leader, the troops are responding brilliantly. No scare tactics needed. This could be a fairly bloodless war, yet. ++

For now, what do we do with the body? Do Hunters have a preference for the remains?

The Sisters have a stasis vault. Place her in there, if something can be done, that will ensure our chances. If they can't, then no harm is done either.

*nods and picks up Jordan, cradling her in his arms*
*goes off to put Jordan in stasis and sends Yarrick a reply from the sisters' vox*

++ It is good that you are all doing well. And I will tell Kimmy not to worry, if she doesn't know already. A clever one, she is. Now stay safe, and do not get yourselves killed. Guardsman Boran, signing off.++

*Maria rushed out her door in armour at the news*

*sighs * just because my job is it. It still effects me badly.
Jordan was found dead.wound was reopened, repeatedly from the sounds of stasis report.

*Marla walks down the glittering and ornate halll to milos family in full princess get up, meets milos father, and several sisters and seems to hit it off well. *

*Ot, Ra, Horus and Huitz all look shocked and sad*
OT: When... when did this happen? Why wasn't I told...?
Horus: What about Billy?...

*Billy's eyes open and starts tearing up again*
Morrigan; You're awake... how are you?
Billy: How do you think!? *Starts crying and sits up to hold his head in his hands*
Billy: She's gone...
*Morrigan leans forward and hugs him, wrapping her wings around him too*
Morrigan: I know... I know... *Billy starts sobbing into her shoulder*
