hello dakka, I've noticed some people have been thinning the citadel paints even when not planning to airbrush with them. Is this recommended? is there any difference in quality? Thanks in advance

I think most people thin their paints just because it helps them spread better.

I usually just use a damp brush while painting and that works fine.

It doesnt effect the quality of the paint as long as you dont water it down a rediculous amount.

Thin every paint, regardless of the brand. This is standard practice no matter what you paint. Never paint from the pot. Ever.
To to YouTube and type "thin your paint" in the search field and watch what comes up. If it doesn't give you nightmares, I don't know what will.

Try it, the results will be astounding.

Basically easier to use, and smoother coverage.
