This game is one of my most played ever, a real classic from before a lot of DakkaDakka members were probably even born.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

I picked it up in a multi-pack that included Sensible Soccer and Zool

I still remember the first time I got humped by Tribbles (wasn't into ST:OS back then so didn't know what they were)

I guess the question/challenge will be how does it fit into a world that already includes EVE?

I was only seven months old when this came out, so no point of reference for me, but it looks like it could potentially be a fun game. I'll keep an eye on this one.

Just thought I would throw this in there...

Pioneer Space Sim is a good place to start if you have not played elite

DB has also maintained that he had one in the works. I hope this is what he needs financially to help him produce it. It is slightly worrying that there is no video footage or gameplay tech or even any video of him (not usually camera shy).

Elite was for me, the nirvana of games when I was 12.

As I'm sure Wing Commander was for many others.

The question is, whether Elite Dangerous, or Star Citizen will capture the KS audience most convincingly.

This could get seriously interesting.

A friend of mine had this game on tape - I think I played it for about an hour

But I wanted the "X" series to be similar and they just weren't

May have to make a pledge on this

From the looks of it they are doing ship interiors - I do not have any audio ATM....

So I cannot watch the video in all of its glory and get all of the details.

I also know that they plan on supporting networking for multi player.

@SilverMK2 - X Rebirth is doing modular ship and space station interiors.

Going off to pledge now

I'm surprised that this hasn't got more backers yet - I know it still has a long time to go on it, but it is something I expected lots of people to get on
