So. You have survivor's guilt. It makes sense. You've been through a lot. In any other situation, I would recommend you oxytocin to relieve stress, but I feel that that would be belittling your problems.
It is not your fault that they died. You did your part in preserving their legacy. Do not feel ashamed that you have lived this long. While they died for something they believed in, you have lived for it. You are equally devoted. Exactly alike. Martyrs and the living.
*Relaxes a bit*
They got their planet, Melyssa. The Tanith will live on. They lived and died for something, and they succeeded. With their blood and lives, they laid the foundation for your world. And it is your duty to stay alive, to make use of that world and the sacrifices they made for you to stay alive.
