So Im pretty into the Fluff of things and I know Ghazghul has been around sense 2nd ED which was the 40,000 millenium and now its the 41st (or so)
that means that Ghaz is freaking ancient... Same with some other characters, but cant really think of any off the top of my head, except Chaos but they dont count they are Chaos. Does anyone know some older characters from other ED?

Yeah I'm not sure if the timeline quite works like that... but I could be wrong.
Dante is the oldest living Space Marine, some say he is over a thousand years old, in fact you could say he has been around for an eternity. A warrior who has been around for an eternity. But that's a different argument

ALL the eldar phoenix lords date back to 2nd ed as well - but they are essentially immortal (when mortally wounded or dead, they just wait for some new eldar to find the armour, then absorb them for rebirth).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

ADB: I showed the Wolves revealing the key weakness at the heart of the World Eaters; showing Angron that his Legion was broken and worthless compared to the others; that he was the one primarch who couldn't trust his own warriors, and that they didn't care if he lived or died; showing that loyalty to brothers and sons is the heart of success for the Legiones Astartes, to the point even Lorgar makes a big deal out of saying the World Eaters and their primarch were massively outclassed by Russ, and Angron was too stupid to see the lesson Russ had sacrificed time, sweat, and blood, to teach. We're talking about a battle the Wolves won, by isolating the enemy general through pack tactics, and threatening to kill him, without a hope of defending himself. It was a balance, 50/50 - Angron overpowered Russ, and the Wolves were losing ground to the World Eaters; but Russ and his warriors had Angron by the balls, and barely broke a sweat. They won, no question. Lorgar even says: "The Wolves won, meathead."
Dorn won’t help you either. He’s too busy being the Emperor’s groundskeeper, hiding behind the palace walls. Dreadnought - yes, memory leaks - yes, alzheimer's syndrome - yes, oldest special charatcter - yes...
and I am a SW fan I didn't mention Hawser (human) who is kept in stasiss under the fang, from time when prospero burned...So your point?

Luther is also still alive in the Rock. He may not enjoy being kept alive, but he's still around.
Ulrik the Slayer is supposedly older than Logan Grimnar (who clocks in at 700 yrs old), though it's not stated how old, exactly.

We don't know how Thraka is old, but all editions are based in the same year - 999.M41. with minor fluff changes here and there.
As for the special charters the oldest was Eldrad ( who was live and kicking even in time of Great Crusade ) and Necrons special characters ( giving the age of all Necrons ). Among Humanity Dante is the oldest ( 1.100 years of active service ).

One of the oldest Astartes who served the Imperium outside Dreadnought are Asmodai ( but we wil lsee this after they release new codex in February ) and High Marshal Ludoldus ( who was in active service for around 2000 years ).

I think he was saluted by berserkers, not Angron himself, but yeah, that's him.
It's not stated outright, but the 3rd edition codex he had a special rule where he could give another character a +1 weapon skill to show that the guy had been under his special tutelage. He couldn't use the special rule on Ragnar or Logan because the already higher weaponskill of the two reflected that they had been his pupils. Therefore he must have already been a Wolf Priest when both Ragnar (easily possible) and Logan were still Blood Claws.
Edit: spelling.

Dante is the oldest known living loyalist Space Marine, he's actually older then most Chaos Space Marines too. Because time in the Eye is not flowing at the same rate. For most of the Traitors its only been a few hunred years since the Heresy.
Bjorn is older then Dante, but being in a Dreadnought shouldn't count.
Although, if the Sanguinor is really Askellon then he would be the oldest living space marine.

Stasis can, to my knowledge, keep something intact indefinitely as long as the unit remains powered, hence the impressive age of Dreadnoughts or individuals like Luther.
Furthermore, the Imperium uses so-called rejuvenation treatments on particularly important people to extend their lives with a drug cocktail. It is not stated how for how long someone can be kept alive with this, but some people sport a pretty impressive age - an example would be Saint Basilius from the 6E rulebook, who has two entries in the timeline which are about 800 years apart (321.M37 and 112.M38). Furthermore, the same book also mentions Space Marines in general having a natural lifespan 2-3 times as long as an average human being, though as mentioned by other people there are some who live far beyond this expectency, which supposedly has to do with a Chapter's geneseed.

All the eldar ages are weird, since the fluff has been shifted around about the date of the fall. They say that 'we have sung songs of our lament since before your ancestors crawled on their bellies from the sea' IE around 450 million years ago, but now they are saying that the fall occurred around twenty thousand years ago. Ummmm what?
Either way, the oldest living guy in the background right now, playable character, is Asdrubal Vect. By a country mile. Dude is a minimum of 20,000 years old. Forget great crusade era, this guy was slitting throats in the dark age of technology. OR half a billion years before that, depending on which Eldar backstory you believe.
